As on Date of Walk-in-Interview. for Project Assistant-III : 35 years.

Project Assistant-II : 30 years.

Project Assistant-I : 28 years Relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST, physically handicapped, OBC and female candidates.

General Instructions: The selected candidates will have opportunity of hands on training/exposure of working under different R&D projects at state of the art Laboratories.

Interested candidates who fulfills the age, educational qualification, etc. may WALK-IN FOR INTERVIEW on the stipulated date(s) at 09.30 a.m. with duly filled-in application in downloadable prescribed format along with original certificates/testimonials and one set of self attested copies of certificates in proof of Educational qualification, Age and Community (for SC/ST/OBC), etc., and recent passport size photograph affixed on the application.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-In-Interview.

Candidates who come for interview with incomplete particulars / information will not be entertained.

Candidates may be required to undergo a written test before the walk-in-interview, if necessary.

Freshers will be eligible for interview, only if they are able to produce, at least, Provisional Certificate or a consolidated mark sheet with the results.

The candidates who have already served CMC & its participating units or any other Lab./Instt. of CSIR as a Trainee / Project Assistant / Project Fellow / JRF / SRF / Research Associate etc. for a period of 5 years or more are not eligible for the above engagements. The candidates who have served for a period less than 5 years, upon selection, their tenure will automatically end on completion of five years.

If it is found at any stage of the process or thereafter that the candidates do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, their candidature shall be cancelled without assigning any reason whatsoever. Further, the decision of the Council in any matter relating to this, will be final.

Interim enquiries will not be entertained and canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

1. CSIR Campus is approximately 4kms from Adyar Canal Corner / Madhya Kailash Temple / CLRI /Regional Labour Institute Bus stop and about 1 km from Thiruvanmiyur Railway Station (MRTS).
