Applications on plain paper (A4 Size) with complete bio-data affixed with self-attested photocopies of candidate’s professional certificates are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (1 Post) in the SERB-CRG funded Project entitled “Gammaaminobutyric acid (GABA) producing lactic acid bacteria from fermented foods of South Indian tribals as psychobiotics for neurophysiological and neuroinflammatory disorders”. Essential Qualification: MSc in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Food Science with 55% marks or equivalent aggregate CGPA with NET/LS or GATE. Age limit: 28 years (Relaxation given for SC/ST/OBC/women candidates as per SERB/DST guidelines). Fellowship amount: As per SEERB/DST norms. Duration: 36 Months from the Date of appointment or the date of completion of the Project whichever is earlier. Mode of Selection: Walk in Interview on 6th June 2019 at 10.00 AM, at the Department of Food Science and Technology, Pondicherry University, Puducherry- 605014.
