WALK-IN-WRITTEN TEST/ INTERVIEW (Employment Notification)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following project position for the project entitled "National Refer�nce Laboratory (NRL)" a long term project under National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP). The project is funded by Central TB Division; Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and executing agency is ICMR­ NJIL&OMD, Agra. Application will be received from the individuals on the date 18-08-2020 between 9:30 A.M. and 11:30 A.M. in the Auditorium Hall at ICMR-NJIL&OMD, Agra for Walk-in-Written Test I Interview. Late applications will not be entertained after 11 :30 A.M. under any circumstances. The Application form will be provided to the candidates at NJIL&OMD on the date of Walk-in-Written Test/ Interview. The Candidates may download also the application form from jalma-icmr.org.in / icmr.nic.in.

Requirements I Information Biotechnologist 01 - reserved for ST Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology and three years of work experience in TB Bacteriology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology or M.Sc. Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology and five years of work experience in TB Bacterioloqy/ Biotechnoloqy/ Molecular Bioloqy Maximum 65 years.

Rs. 65,000/- P.M. fixed without any other allowances at present To provide support in planning, scaling up of quality assured molecular testing and sequencing facility at NRL and linked IRLs & C-DST- Labs and as per NTEP's needs which requires frequent travel ICMR-NJIL&OMD, Aqra One year and extendable based on performance & requirement 18-08-2020 As applicable 1. Mathematics 2. General Knowledge 3. English 4. General Science 5. Laboratory Science pertaining to Tuberculosis, DNA Sequencing and Analysis Interview will be conducted for the eligible candidates. However, if more number of candidates are found eligible for the above position advertised, written test may also be conducted on the same day for final round of interview.

Biomedical Engineer 01 - reserved for SC B.E / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering and three years of work experience in relevant field Maximum 65 years.

Data Analyst 01 - reserved for OBC Degree in Computer Application. Should be proficient in data analysis and statistical packages and two years of work experience in related field Maximum 65 years.

Rs. 30,000/- P.M. fixed without any other allowances at present To obtain and analyze NTEP's data generated at NRL as well as linked IRLs & C-DST Labs using statistical tools/ software and as per NTEP's needs may require travel ICMR-NJIL&OMD, Aqra One year and extendable based on performance & requirement 18-08-2020 As aoplicable 1. Mathematics 2. General Knowledge 3. English 4. General Science 5. Statistics Written Test will be conducted.

Senior Laboratory Technician 04 - reserved for UR-3, OBC-1 M.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ General Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with or without DMLT and three years of work experience in TB Bacteriology or B.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Life Science with or without DMLT and five years of work experience in TB Bacterioloqy Maximum 65 years.

Rs. 25,000/- P.M. fixed without any other allowances at present To provide assistance to Consultant Microbiologist and Biotechnologist-NRL during On-Site Evaluations which requires

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), experience, Aadhaar Card, Community and PH Certificates along with one set of photocopies of the same duly attested (can be self-attested) along with a passport size photograph for attending the Written Test/ Interview. No TA I DA will be paid for attending the Written Test / Interview. The recruited project staff are / is eligible for leave as per rules and will have to give an undertaking / medical fitness certificate and any other document as required before joining.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be same as that of the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this institute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason (s) and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained. Age, qualifications, experience etc. will be reckoned as on the date of Walk-in­ Written Test/ Interview.
