Applications are invited fo r (a) one post of Field Worker and (b) One post of Laboratory Technician (c) one post of Junior Research Fellow in an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project entitled "'Prevalence, risk factors and laboratory diagnosis of non tuberculosis mycobacterial (NTM) disease : a multicentre study". All posts are purely on contract basis initially for up to one yea r, or until completion of project, and those selected will have no claim to regular appointment under ICMR or any other project. M .Sc. (Life Science/Microbiology) One year experience in related field Below 30 years. As per ICMR guidelines (currently Rs. 31000 + 16% H.R.A. per month fixed).
Field Worker (One Post) Eligibility: 12th pass in science subjects, with BSc (MLT), or two year diploma in MLT, radiology/ radiography, PMW, or related subject, or one year diploma in MLT plus one year of work experience from a recognized organization (with degree/diploma from full-time noncorrespondence course from a recognized university). Desirable: Experience in dealing with patients under community/resea rch setting. Age limit : Below 30 years. Emoluments: As per ICMR guidelines (currently Rs. 18,000 per month fixed). Nature of duty: Assisting in coordinating and monitoring various field activities of the project such as patient interview, collection and transport of samples, record keeping, home visit, etc. Laboratory Technician (one Post) Eligibility: 12th pass in science subjects with BSc (MLT), or two year diploma in MLT, or one year diploma in M LT plus one year experience in a recognized organization (with degree/ diploma from fulltime non-correspondence course from a recognized university). Desirable: Technical work experience in Microbiology laboratory for at least one year. Age limit: Below 30 years. Emoluments : As per ICMR guidelines (currently Rs. 18,000 per month fixed) . Nature of duty: Conduct, coordination and monitoring of va rious laboratory activities of the project.

No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview. In case the number of shortlisted applicants is large, a screening examination shall be conducted prior to this interview.
