NOTICE A walk-in in interview for selection and filling up of 02 Posts of Junior Research Fellow F (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) RF) in two different NER-Twinning Twinning Projects sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India (DBT) is scheduled on 10th November, 2020 (Tuesday) at 10:30 AM.. The details of the eligibility criteria etc. are as follows: 1. For Post No. 1 (JRF-11 No.) Title of the Project: Diversity Assessment, in-vitro in vitro propagation and DNA barcoding of Ferns and Fern-allies allies of Assam. Duration: Till the completion of the project Eligibility: a) M.Sc. in Life Sciences / M.Sc. in Botany b) NET qualified candidates will get preference. c) Desirable experience: Candidate having experience in techniques like DNA Extraction, PCR, Sequence Analysis etc. will get preference. 2. For Post No. 2 (JRF/SRF--1 No.) Title of the Project: Drug Discovery Discover approachess for the effective control of Tuberculosis Target based virtual screening and whole cell screening of medicinal plants. Duration: Till the completion of the project Eligibility: a) M.Sc. in Life Sciences / M.Sc. in Bioinformatics b) NET qualified candidates will get preference. c) Desirable experience: Candidate having experience in Computer Aided Drug Designing tools, tools Molecular Docking, MD Simulations etc.. will get preference.
Fellowship: a. For Candidates with NET: NET Rs. 31000/- + HRA @ 10 % per month, for first 2 years, which may be enhanced to Rs 35000/- + HRA @ 10 % in the 3rd Year depending on the performance. b. For Candidates without NET: NET As per guidelines of the funding agency/ Dibrugarh University. The posts are on purely temporary basis and are coterminous with the project. Eligible candidates seeking to appear in the walk-in walk in interview must report at the Department of Life Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Dibrugar by 10:00 AM on 10th November, 2020 (Tuesday) along with photocopies photocopies of all academic testimonials and complete Biodata. They must also bring the original documents for verification. No allowance will be paid to the candidate for attending the interview.
