Interested candidates may attend the Walk-In Interview to be held on 25th March, 2019 at 11.00 AM in the Conference Hall of the Department of Forestry, North-Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh for the following temporary research position in a DBT sponsored project entitled “Comprehensive metabolic profiling and pharmacological studies of Piper species: a natural bioenhancer in pharmaceuticals� Position and fellowship Junior Research Fellow* (@25000/ pm +10% HRA)

1st class M Sc. in Botany / Forestry Specialization in (with practical experiences in plant taxonomy/biochemistry collection, phytochemical extraction /natural product and analysis) chemistry *The fellowship for non NET candidate will be Rs. 12000/ + 10% HRA The project involves the population sampling of Piper species and collection of samples from different population from forest areas of north east followed by phytochemical / pharmaceutical analysis of the samples using standard protocol. The final analytical work will be carried out with National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow.
