Advertisement No.: 25/2018 Recruitment for Wellcome Trust-DBT funded Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (PDRF) at IISER Tirupati Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral position supported by a Wellcome Trust – DBT funded project on NF-kB signaling in the immune system and cancer. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a Ph.D. degree in a relevant area. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in molecular cloning, cell culture, microscopic methods as well as flow cytometry. Some insight into signal transduction and gene regulation will be an advantage. The project is for 5 years and the initial recruitment will be made for 2 years with possible extension depending on progress. Consolidated monthly emoluments of Rs. 48,000/- will be paid during the first year with a possible increase in the salary during second year.
