Advt. No 12/2019/Acad Walk-in-interview for Research Associate (Project) Position Title of Project: “Mechanism of mutagenic & translesion DNA synthesis by a mycobacterial Y-family DNA polymerase�

Duration: Initially for 12 months and may be extended after review.

Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology, minimum 60 % marks in M.Sc or equivalent degree and below 36 years of age. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D thesis recently and are awaiting viva voce are also eligible to apply Research experience and practical knowledge of protein purification, biochemical assays, protein crystallography and small angle X-ray scattering is essential. Demonstrated productivity in the form of peer-reviewed publications in international journals is essential.

Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge and Research Experience in the field of DNA Replication and Repair.
