Walk in interview Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications for the position in DBT Sponsored Project entitled “Global Profiling and significance of alternative splicing events regulated by polypyrimidine tract binding protein 2 (PTBP2) in the advance stages of chronic myeloid leukemia”. Name of position: Laboratory Technician (01 No) Emoluments: Rs. 18000/- per month (Consolidated) Eligibility and Selection: Candidates having B.Sc. or above in Biotechnology/Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/Physiology and have worked in a biology research laboratory after obtaining the degree (B.Sc. or above) wherein they have obtained experience in handling PCR or protein gel or laboratory mice or blood sample are only eligible to attend the interview. Age limit: The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 28 years from the last date of submission of application. Age relaxation will be given as per GOI guidelines. The eligible candidates may download application form from our website www.ils.res.in and attend the interview with the complete application form along with attested copies of bachelor’s degree mark sheet and certificate, age proof, caste certificate (if any), along with the experience certificate at, Institute of Life Sciences, Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar – 751 023, India. Applicants without the above mentioned documents will not be interviewed. Selected candidate will not have any right to claim explicit or implicit for any post in Institute of Life Sciences. The initial appointment will be made for one year which is extendable year to year basis after satisfactory performance or the termination of the project. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding selection of the candidates will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
