Recruitment for the Contractuat Posts under the Projects entitled "Multi-centrl. ,.lid.tion of 'TBDetect'and'TB Concentration and Transport'kit and'TB DNA extraction'kit forthe diagnosis of TB and drug resistant TB" and "Assessment of lodine status among pregnant women in selected districts of lndia".

Applicatigns are invited for the post of Research Assistant, Field workers, Lab Technician and Lab Attendant on contractual basis under the project entitled "Multi-centric validation of 'TB-Detect' and 'TB Concentration and Transport' kit and 'TB DNA extraction' kit for the diagnosis of TB and drug resistant TB" and "Assessment of lodine status among pregnant women in selected districts of lndia". The detail of all positions; their place of posting; remuneration; broad scope of work; are detailed in Annexure l.

The Walk-in Written Test/lnterview will be held on dated 24th July201"8 for

under any circumstances.

Terms: Position is purely temporary. However, the appointment can be terminated any time even before the end of the contract period due to any reason. ln case of such premature termination due to performance and discipline related issues, The candidate can leave the job prematurely going one month's notice or one month's salary in lieu of the same.

Selection procedurel Depending on the number of applicants written test/interviews may be undertaken. please note

that no complaints will be entertained if the candidate misses the dates for the interview.

NO SEPARATE CALL LETTERS WILL BE SENT TO HOMES OF APPLICANTS.

The candidates should bring with them at the venue, the attached application from (Annexure-ll) duly

filled, all relevant original documents and a photocopy of the documents during the date of written test/interview.

During the project tenure as well as on its termination, the ICMR and/or the NJIL&OMD will have no legal liabilities relating of staff.

Performance will be assessed on a regular basis/frequent intervals.

Contract can be terminated at any time based on the performance of the staff.

Candidate will have to submit an affidavit at the time of joining that they will accept all the general instructions & terms and conditions related to the post.

No TA/DA will be paid neither for appearing in the written test/interview nor for joining the assignment.

The candidate place of posting can be changed at any time and to any place of work within the project and as per the need of the project anywhere within lndia.
