Tenure of the position
One Year from the date of appointment (with a possibility of extension based on the candidate's performance and the avilability of funds)
Essential Qualification
RA: Possessing Ph. D. in Chemistry (Synthetic Organic Chemistry specialization will be prefered); candidates who have submitted their thesis can also apply.* Age Limit: maximum 35 years SRF: Possessing M.Sc. in Chemistry and at least 2 years of post M.Sc. research/teaching experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals. Age Limit: maximum 32 years JRF: Possessing M.Sc. Chemistry with minimum 55% marks and NET qualified. Age Limit: maximum 28 years
Desirable
Sound knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry reactions, hands-on experience of purification techniques, NMR and related techniques.
Fellowship
RA: Rs. 36000/-* per month + HRA SRF: Rs. 14000/- per month + HRA JRF: Rs. 12000/- per month + HRA
