Applications are invited for the positions of Project Linked Personfor extramural projects to be executed by the National lnstitute of Biomedical Genomics, Kalyani. Selected applicants will be appointed for a period of ONE YEAR. The tenure of appointment may be extended depending on performance and availability of funds. Project Name & Funding Authority: “A unified web-portal for analysis, integration and visualization of multiomics data�. (Department of Biotechnology (DBT), India) Project description: The goal of this project is to develop a user-accessible resource for integrated analysis and visualization of multi-OMICs data sets (including gene expression, genotype, methylation, microRNA, etc.). Data sets generated on various platforms shall be maintained in a stable database, accessed through standard querying mechanisms, and the results shall be displayed via user-friendly interface. The analysis engine shall run on opensource software (such as R/Bioconductor) developed in-house.
Walk-in interview is being organized for recruiting ONE (1) Research Associate (RA) to analyze data and develop programs towards meeting the objectives of the project. The date of walk-in interview is 15th January, 2019 (Tuesday) starting from 11:00 AM. The age limit is maximum 35 years on the day of the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Following documents are required at the time of interview: 1. Curriculum Vitae along with reprints of publications, if any 2. One Passport- size coloured Photograph 2. Original along with Self-Attested Copies of Certificates of Educational Qualifications 3. Original along with Self-Attested Copies of Experience Certificates 4.
