Post: Programme Officer (One) Project- Environmental Information System (ENVIS) Centre on avian ecology, BNHS

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Ornithology/Zoology/Botany/Environmental Science, etc. or M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Zoology/Botany/Environmental Science, etc. with minimum of three years of experience in Wildlife Studies. Desirable: Candidate should have ability to execute the scientific projects and have additional knowledge about use of information technology in wildlife studies. Job profile: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Overall coordination of the ENVIS project/Centre Communication with funding agency Website maintenance Publication of newsletter Database development Reply to subject specific (avian ecology) queries

Reporting- To Director Age Limit: Up to 35 years Salary: Negotiable/based on the qualification/ability of the candidate.
