Advertisement for the position of Junior Research Fellow / Project Assistant in DST Project Walk-in-Interview will be conducted on 15th March 2019 for highly motivated and bright candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow/ Project Assistant in DST project under the supervision of Dr. Asifkhan Shanavas, Scientist ‘C’, INST Mohali. Title of the project: Gold capsuled combination nanomedicine for target specific therapy of chemoresistant breast tumors Principal investigator: Dr. Asifkhan Shanavas Name of the position available: Junior Research Fellow (Project) / Project Assistant (PA) Number of positions available: One (1) Qualifications: Essential: M.Tech./M.Sc. in Nanosciences/Life Sciences/Chemical Sciences with GATE/NET etc. Candidates without GATE/NET etc. are eligible for PA position. Desirable: Strong knowledge in nanomaterial synthesis. Research experience in molecular/cell biology with mammalian cell culture expertise is also preferred. Age: Below 28 years as on the date of interview (relaxable as per Government of India norms) Salary (pre-revised): ₹25,000+20% HRA per month for JRF with NET/GATE/MTech degree OR ₹16,000+20% HRA per month for PA without NET/GATE/MTech degree. Project duration: Initially one year with the possibility of extension. Terms and Conditions: – The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance.
