Advertisement for the Post of Research Fellow for a WBDST Funded Research Project A Walk-in in interview will be held on 03rd August,, 2018 at 10.00 am in the office of the PI, Dept. of Earth and Environmental Studies, Studies, NIT Durgapur for the following position. Title of Project: “Emerging ing Contaminants and their accumulation in ecosystem of lower stretch oh Hooghly River” Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (purely on temporary basis) - One Post B.Tech (7.5 CGPA or 70% marks for General/OBC and 7.0 CGPA Minimum Qualification: B.Tech/BE or 65% marks for SC/ST) in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering; M.Tech/ME (6.5 .5 CGPA or 60% marks for General/OBC and 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks for SC/ST) in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Science and Technology/ Technology Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Agricultural Engineering; MSc (6.5 ( CGPA or 60% marks for General/OBC and 6.0 .0 CGPA or 55% marks for SC/ST) in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology/Earth Science/Applied Geology/Geochemistry / Hydrogeology (or Groundwater)/Agriculture from any recognized Institute/ Institu University. Fellowship: (i) Rs. 18,000/- for 1st two years (ii) Rs. 21000/- for last one year Note: The post is purely temporary in nature but the the selected candidates can take for Ph.D. at NIT Durgapur, after clearing the institutional admission procedure.
