Walk in Interview A Walk-in-interview for the appointment of a Junior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a DBT Research Project in the School of Biotechnology, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 04.01.2019 at 10.00 a.m. Duration of Appointment
: Initially for one year (on contract basis) and extendable further on the basis of performance evaluation at the end of each year or six months and availability of project grant.

Qualification
: First Class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course. Professional course should be relevant to life science. Also, the candidates should have good writing and communication skills. The project demand dedication, team work and willingness to travel to other institutes to perform certain experiments.
Desirable
: Good knowledge in molecular biology techniques and experience in mammalian cell culture and animal work.
Age
: Up to 28 years. Relaxation to age and marks are according to the DBT/DST guidelines.
Emoluments
: As per DST/DBT guidelines, Rs. 25,000/-(Rupees twenty five thousand only) plus admissible HRA allowance (wherever provision of hostel accommodation is not possible or not provided).

No travelling or any other allowances is admissible for attending the interview.
