Title of the Project: Characterization of genetic determinants of industrially beneficial physiological traits using quantitative trait loci mapping. Qualifications: For JRF: M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Life Sciences) with NET. For PF: M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Life Sciences) with at least 55% marks Desirables: Experience in molecular biology, microbiology, genomics and scripting languages Term of the project work: For a period of about 3 years Emoluments: For JRF 25,000 PM + 10% HRA (I & II yr) and 28,000 PM + 10% HRA (III yr); For Project Fellow 21,700 PM + 10% HRA (I & II yr) and 24,800 PM + 10% HRA (III yr); and for M.Tech. qualified candidate 25,000 PM + 10% HRA (I & II yr) and 28,000 PM + 10% HRA (III Yr). Fellowship is likely to be revised.
