Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the short-term temporary positions for the COVID-19 testing center.
1) Name of the position: Project Associate 1 Number of positions: 9 Salary: (i) Rs. 31,000 + accommodation on campus for candidates who have passed a) National Eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (LS) or GATE or (ii) 25000+ accommodation on campus for others who do not fall under (i) above. or Candidates with two years of research experience may be considered for the Project Associate II position with the following salary. (iii) Rs. 35,000 + accommodation on campus for candidates who have passed a) National Eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (LS) or GATE or (iv) 28000+ accommodation on campus (for outstation candidates) for others who do not fall under (iii) above. Duration: Three months (extendable based on the requirement) Essential Qualification: Applicants should have a masters degree in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology or related subjects. Desirable: Prior experience in RNA isolation/RT-PCR/virology will be preferred. Age: Maximum age is 32 years for general candidates at the time of application (to be relaxed by 5 years for SC and ST candidates and persons with physical disability)
