ADVERTISEMENT FOR SELECTION OF THREE (03) JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOWS AND ONE (01) PROJECT ASSISTANT AT DESERT REGIONAL CENTRE, ZOOLOGICAL SURVEY OF INDIA, JODHPUR Applications are invited for the purely temporary posts of Three (3) JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOWS (JPF’S) and One (01) PROJECT ASSISTANT (PA) under National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS NMHS), ), Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, sponsored research project “Documentation, conservation and utilization of Indigenous mountain pollinators -with with special reference to Himalayan bumblebees”.` Duration: The positions are purely on temporary basis initially for a period of one year and it may be extended for further period(s) based on further project extension and satisfactory performance of the candidate and will be co co-terminus terminus with completion of the project. proj Place of Work: Zoological Survey of India, Desert Regional Centre, Jodhpur, Rajasthan with the liability of extensive and long field surveys to the Indian Himalayan region (Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand & Arunachal Pradesh Pradesh). The selected candidate (JPF’S & PA) has to travel extensively along Indian Himalayan region and may be posted for a longer duration in the field field, based on requirements or any other places as per the project requirements including HQ HQs. at Kolkata. Remuneration: Fellowship of Rs 20,000/- plus Admissible HRA for the initial two years as JPF and in third year Rs 23,000/- plus Admissible HRA as SPF will be provided and Rs.10,000/= per month fixed for Project Assistant. Essential Qualification/ Desirable Experience for the posts posts: 1. Junior Project Fellow (JPF (JPF) Essential Qualification: M. Sc. in Zoology with spec specialization ialization in Entomology/ Entomology Life Sciences /or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
