Is a base change inherently good or bad? No, there’s no reason to be anxious. It’s just a rescaling of PTA values.
What does this mean to me? The base change is a great opportunity to reassess your herd’s genetic strategy and make the most of an index like HHP$ Using an index allows you to improve multiple economically important traits at the same time, helping you achieve longterm genetic progress and profitability
