ABOUT EU HOLIDAYS MISSION • Delighting every travel experience

VISION • Be Travellers’ FIRST choice

VALUES 1. Deliver what we promise 2. Serve customers passionately 3. Do what we do, best 4. Make work fun 5. Care for employees 6. Stay as one big family as we grow 7. Be a good business partner 8. Be socially responsible

PROGRESS AND MILESTONES EU Holidays was founded by a group of experienced directors passionate about their work in the travel industry. They wanted to do something new that could better serve the travel needs of consumers, which is the main driving force behind the establishment of our travel agency. Within five years of business operations, we have expanded EU Holidays and opened up three other subsidiary offices to focus on the various needs of our customers. The EU MICE office was set up in 2013 to cater for corporate travel with a focus on corporate meetings, conventions and events. In that same year, EU Asia was launched to cater for customers who are interested in travelling within Asia. In the following year, we opened up EU Vacations to serve the Malaysian market. In

doing so, EU Holidays strives to constantly improve our products and services so that we can better serve our customers. Despite being a young company, EU Holidays has gained significant recognition from both customers and industry professionals. Founded in late 2010, EU Holidays was voted Top MasterCard Supporter in NATAS Travel for four consecutive years since 2012. Since then, EU Holidays was named the ‘Best Travel Agency for Europe and USA Tours’ as voted by readers of ESCAPE! Magazine. After just two years in the business, EU Holidays was presented with two valuable awards – the Asia Excellence Award 2013 and the Singapore Excellence Award 2013. In 2014, we received the Singapore Quality Brands 2014 award and the Weekender Travellers’ Choice Award as No. 1 for Europe and USA tours, as voted by readers. We continued to be awarded for the next three years by Weekender and held our position as the top travel agency in Singapore. From Tripzillia.sg - Singapore’s No.1 Travel Portal – EU Holidays also acquired excellence awards in “Best for Europe 2015” and “Best for USA 2015”. The coveted award recognises the most outstanding travel companies for their professionalism and experience in the travel industry. EU Holidays Pte Ltd has recently received the prestigious Singapore Trusted Quality Brand 2015 award from the Singapore Enrich Group. In addition, the travel agency has gone through the year-long Customer- Centric Initiative (CCI) program and successfully attained the Singapore Service Class certification under the Ministry of Trade and Industry agency, SPRING Singapore. The agency certifies EU Holidays with the niche Business Excellence (BE) standard for service.

Just Another Day in Western Australia Discover the rich offerings of this thrilling and memorable Australian state.

Famous wooden Busselton jetty in Western Australia

D

on’t let the arid Outback fool you. Western Australia is home to many noteworthy destinations that provide a multitude of activities for travellers of all ages. Whether you are looking to have fun with the family, an unforgettable escapade, or simply looking forward to a much needed R and R, these places offer something for everyone.

Historic Whaling Station at Discovery Bay The state is best known for its whaling history which dates back all the way to 1829. The former whaling station was established to educate and bring awareness of the industry prior to 1978. Visit the interactive Whale World Museum (which was also originally the last whaling company

in Australia to cease operations) to learn more about the marine mammals as well as the whaling industry. The guided tours will take you back in history to see the last operational whaling station in Australia. These tours are accompanied with visual displays and 3D films that provide further insight into Albany’s whaling past. You can also board the Cheyne’s whalers for the public to explore the actual whaling boat and experience history first-hand.

Torndirrup National Park Torndirrup National Park is best known for its wild and edgy (literally) natural formations. The Gap and the Natural Bridge - coastal granites shaped by the Southern Ocean waves - are popular highlights in the park. You can walk up to the 40-metre

high viewing platform at The Gap to get unhindered views of the Southern Ocean. Both lookouts at The Gap and the Natural Bridge also offer unforgettable sights of the coast from Bald Head to West Cape Howe. Besides providing captivating views, the park also has numerous trails and lookouts such as Sharp Point, Jimmy Newells, Stony Hill and Peak Head that are as equally fascinating as the one at The Gap. Another impressive not-to-be-missed attraction are the Blowholes; caused by water being forced up into a crack-line in the granite, these blowholes emit loud eerie sounds accompanied with sprays of water. Nature lovers exploring the park will get to see numerous species of flora and fauna thriving in the park, including the adorable honey possum, the park’s smallest marsupial.

Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk Get ready for a line-up of activities at the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. The impressive walkway is positioned 40 meters above ground, in the midst of the thick canopies of magnificent tingle forest. The 600-metre walk is wheelchair accessible and safe for children of all ages. There is also a walk trail that connects to the Tree Top Walk, which allows access to the Ancient Empire. The boardwalk provides an unforgettable experience when one travels through the grove of 400-year-old red tingle trees. The path is also known for leading hikers to one of the more prominent veteran Grandma Tingle, or more popularly known as the Gatekeeper. Besides the Tree Top Walk, Denmark Walpole Wilderness offers a number of sights and things to do. Discover the natural wonders of this region and immerse in the various activities such as diving, fishing and canoeing. You can also drop by the Wildness Discovery Centre to learn more about the indigenous, natural and cultural wonders of the Wilderness. Opening its doors in early 2008, this facility is conveniently located at the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk.

the region provides adrenaline junkies with a multitude of activities. From surfing and kayaking to skydiving and mountain biking, the number of things to do here are practically endless!

Busselton Jetty The best way to explore Busselton Jetty is to sit back, relax and catch a glimpse of the dolphins and the local fishermen at work while on board the Jetty Train. Travelling about 1.7 kilometres across the Geographe Bay, the train can transport up to 50 people. Nestled at the Jetty itself, is the Interpretive Centre consists of four blue boat-sheds which warmly welcome visitors to peruse exquisite giftware, homeware and souvenirs.

Grab a quick drink, snacks or even an ice cream at the store and head down to Cultural Heritage Museum, situated within the Interpretive Centre. Entry is complimentary and a quick tour will tell you more about the rich history and future plans of the jetty. The Underwater Observatory was voted no.1 in the list of top aquariums in the South Pacific by TripAdvisor. It is located 1.7 kilometres from Busselton Jetty, home to more than 300 marine species including colourful sub-tropical corals, sponges and invertebrates. Enjoy the 8-metre deep view beneath the water surface via 11 viewing windows and an observatory that can accommodate up to 48 people at one time.

Margaret River Region The compact town south of Perth is known for being an exciting tourist destination. Stretching from Busselton and Dunsborough in the north of the region, all the way down to Augusta in the south. Margaret River Region entices travellers with its natural wonders, wineries, stunning beaches and world-renowned restaurants. Whether you’re a nature-lover, an adventurous soul, or even a discerning foodie, this town has something for everyone. If you’re travelling with family, you can visit one of the many family-friendly holiday parks to indulge in some exhilarating family fun time. Milford Sound – South Island

Hobbiton Movie Set – North Island

In the fictional world of the Lord of the Rings, beings known as Hobbits settled in an area known as The Shire. This area was brought to life in New Zealand for the Lord of the Rings movie. While the fans will be thrilled by default, non-fans will similarly be enchanted by the lush green rolling hills and unusual circular doors.

Writer, Rudyard Kipling once described Milford Sound as the ‘eighth wonder of the world’. Irrefutably, this site possesses magnificence deserving of the compliment. Allow Milford sound to captivate you with its raw beauty and other features such as waterfalls, lush rainforest and wildlife.

Aoraki / Mt Cook – South Island This beautiful snow capped mountainous range is where you will find the tallest mountain in New Zealand – Aoraki / Mt Cook. During the day, admire the vast white landscape of the Southern Alps than spans across your field of sight. At night, look towards the skies and discover why this site is also recognised as an International Dark Sky Reserve. Occasionally the Aurora Australis, also know as the Southern Lights, are found dancing in these skies.

Lake Wanaka – South Island Te Puia – North Island Located in the Whakawareware Geothermal Vally is the living Maori cultural centre of Te Puia. Here you will find active and historic geysers, hot pools, mud pools and a showcase of the Moari culture. Be mesmerised by the thick steam rising from the hot pools creating a mystical illusion.

A massive lake of crystal clear water spreading across 193 square km, the exquisiteness of Lake Wanaka draws visitors from all over the globe. Hike along the numerous tracks to explore the area and experience true freedom in the wilderness.
