HOW CAN I BECOME A UNION MEMBER?
While the official application period for the apprenticeship program opens up at the start of each year, here’s some great news for you! Local Union 234 welcomes applications throughout the entire year for the Pre-Apprentice (Helper) position. This fantastic opportunity lets you explore the world of construction at your own pace before taking the leap to apply for the formal program. The guidelines for applying are as follows:
Be 18 years of age by the start of the Apprenticeship Program.
Possess a government issued identitifcation card
Be a high school graduate by the first summer of the current school year.
