Moving with the ball: A travel is when you carry the ball. You can take max of three steps with the ball. To avoid travelling you need to bounce the ball without catching it, this is called dribbling the ball. If you catch the ball while dribbling you can’t bounce it again, this is a foul called a double dribble. If you hold the ball underneath it’s called a carry, this is the same as catching the ball while dribbling.

Scoring: You get two points for scoring a basket inside the arc, 3 points for scoring a basket outside the arc and 1 point for each score from a free throw.
Fouls: There are different types of fouls; a technical foul, personal foul, reach in foul, shooting foul
Technical: A foul that doesn’t involve contact with another player.
Personal: Any illegel contact with another player.
Reach in: Reaching across a player to get the ball.
Shooting: Making contact with a player trying to score.
Formation: There are five players on the court for each team. These are; Point Guard, Shooting Guard, Small Forward, Power Forward, Centre.
Point Guard: The point guard runs the offense and usually is the team’s best dribbler and passer. The point guard defends the opponent’s point guard and tries to steal the ball Eg Stephen Curry
Shooting Guard: The shooting guard is usually the team’s best shooter. The shooting guard can make shots from long distance and also is a good dribbler. Eg. Michael Jordan
Small Forward: The small forward plays against small and large players. They roam all over on the court. Small forwards can score from long shots and close ones. Eg. Lebron James
Power Forward: The power forward does many of the things a centre does, playing near the basket while rebounding and defending taller players. But power forwards also take longer shots than centres. Eg. Kevin Durant
Centre: The centre is the tallest player on each team, playing near the basket. On offense, the centre tries to score on close shots and rebound. But on defense, the centre tries to block opponents’ shots and rebound their misses Eg Shaquille
Parkour Seán Perrie
Parkour is a a sport. I learned what it was first when I looked up vaulting. I like it because I like to move and it keeps you fit. It is good for building core strength
It involves trying to get from one place to another from point A to point B in the least amount of distance. Some of the moves are called safety vault, speed vault, tictac wall run and kong vault.
