Hurling Training Starts in Selskar College

In the last few weeks the Selskar College hurling team started training in Clonard Gaa pitch. Brian Lonergan has been leading the training sessions with help from Mr. Kirwan and Mr. Weafer. There’s been a great turn out for training, with numbers growing every week.

Training sessions started with a run to warm up, before getting into some drills to improve ball work. Training finished with a match to work out player positions. Quote from a player; “It was brilliant”.

There’s a great buzz around the school with students and teachers playing hurling at both break and lunch times.
