OUR MOST VALUABLE RESOURCE – OUR EMPLOYEES FISCAL YEAR 2015: CREATING WORKPLACE SUPERHEROES – THROUGH A VARIETY OF HUMAN RESOURCES INITIATIVES: Provided employee survey-based training options for personal and professional development. Performed a clear, relevant policy review to communicate expectations and adhere to state and federal legislation. Updated personnel management tools to include employee performance and position descriptions. Recruited a diverse workforce of the most qualified candidates for each of our open positions.

Supported individual commitment to educational development. During the 2015 fiscal year, WVSOM awarded $22,758.34 to twelve (12) employees for educational development. Eight (8) of these employees were classified and four (4) were non-classified.
