Provisional restorations have become a vital diagnostic and assessment tool to evaluate function color, shape, contour, occlusion, periodontal response, implant healing, and overall esthetics. An accurate fit and margination is essential to insure and maintain pulpal health. With increased demands being placed on provisional restorations, new materials and techniques are being developed and some existing protocols are being refined to accomplish desired goals.

This workshop will focus on aesthetic and therapeutic procedures that can be easily incorporated into any dental practice. Following completion of this workshop the dentist will have the skills and confidence to start administering BOTOX ® on return to their office. This workshop will include hands-on preparation and administration of BOTOX ® and is recommended for dentists wishing to implement BOTOX ® aesthetic or therapeutic procedures into their practices. Dentists are encouraged to bring a staff member that assists in aesthetic procedures and will be involved with BOTOX ® treatments to the workshop. Tuition includes syllabus, forms, supplies and 100 Units of BOTOX ®. Learning Objectives: • Introduction to BOTOX ® aesthetic procedures and therapeutic procedures of the head and neck performed by dentists • Preparation and administration of BOTOX ® • Evaluation, communication and documentation of BOTOX ® treatments to achieve clinical success and meet patient expectations Participants should bring: loupes, proof of malpractice coverage and 1-2 patients for administration of BOTOX ®.
