total RFI

TotalEnergies released a RFI this week, hoping to screen the offshore market for AHTS vessels available in Brazil and possibly abroad for a delivery in January 2024. The specification on the RFI is for a medium-sized AHTS (180T BP) to be engaged in standard AH activities as well as cargo duties and ROV support, besides the usual compliance with IBAMA regulations for environmental safety. The RFI proposes a firm duration of 3 years with possible extensions to be added. Currently, TotalEnergies have one AHTS in their fleet, with characteristics slightly above the requirements under the RFI.
