GOAL at Westminster

Georgia’s GOAL Scholarship is a truly remarkable program provided to Georgians by our elected officials. In exchange for contributions to Georgia GOAL, Georgia taxpayers receive a 100% state income tax credit. In essence, you get to direct where your state income tax money goes!

By contributing your tax dollars to Georgia GOAL and selecting Westminster Schools of Augusta as your recipient school, you help maximize financial assistance for deserving families who might not otherwise be able to afford the cost of a Westminster education. The Georgia GOAL scholarship program helps families with children enrolled in public schools or just entering kindergarten make the move to Westminster where they can receive an excellent Christian education.

Westminster currently has over 75 students receiving scholarships through Georgia GOAL, and these students are helping to shape our school by contributing to our academic, athletic, and fine arts programs. In turn, Westminster gets the opportunity to shepherd the hearts of these families as we welcome them into a loving, Christian community.

When a student receives a GOAL scholarship at Westminster, it covers not just one year, but their entire time as part of the Westminster family. We never want cost to be an impediment to any family staying at Westminster.

Pledging is not yet open for the 2024 tax year, but we encourage you to be in prayer about your opportunity. We will notify our community when pledges open for 2024.
