The Most Influential Person in My life, My Nanny

As children grow, they always look up to someone special in their life– someone that they can trust and is always there for them. This person is someone that they admire and hope to be like someday. The person that I've described best fits my Nanny. She knows all the right things and is there whenever I need her. My Nanny is one of the most important people in my life and I'm so esthetic that I have her. It took me ten years when I was finally old enough to realize what an extraordinary influence my nanny has been in my life. My Nanny has made very careful and thoughtful decisions and choices for the way my life turned out. Growing up she was such a huge role model on my life and shaped it. Since birth, she has been the only consistent person that I have had in my life. Once my parents were making bad choices and decisions, the Department of Family and Children services got called due to me missing tons of school, falling behind, and never knowing what I would be waking up to. My nanny was the one who saved me from being placed in foster care. My Nanny was there to take and fill both parents absence in my life. My Nanny was there for my all of my firsts that occurred as an infant. Most of these instances all came to be because of her. I was never hungry since she always kept me full and when it came time to walk and talk she was there. When it came to most days, a lot of our free time was spent either outside planting or Get more content

The most influential person in my life is my mom in terms of effective communication. When talking or listening to you she will always show that she's giving you her undivided communication and she will always remember what you say word for word. For example, she can tell anyone story's that her college professors told her 20 years ago. Or when I talk to her in front of me she will give me full eye contact and show she's listening. I wish that I could express myself that way to others and show to them that I am listening.

My father has this capacity or power of affecting me without any direct or apparent effort. The most influential person in my life beyond a shadow of a doubt is my father. There are a lot of people who said a perfect father does not exist. Well, they have never been so wrong. Maybe not all fathers in the world are perfect but mine definitely is. My father is an exceptional person. I love everything about my old man, the way he speaks, he behaves and they way he moves are beyond perfection in my eyes. I am immensely proud to have the chance to be his son, I felt like I am this small present of a great person he is. Now, sit back and let me describe how great my father was so you will know how special he is. My father was 39 years old when I was born, as my parents were married quite late. When I was in form 4, I began to grow taller than him. Because of that, I always made fun of him but he never got angry at me before not even once. You would always find my father with his glasses unless he was reading newspaper. My father looked like how most typical Chinese men would look like, fair skin, round face, small brown eyes and black curly hair. When it comes to his body, my father was a bit flabby and plump. He had this small belly fat that most of the men after 40 have due to losses of muscle tissue or muscle mass. He did not work out much, the only exercise he did was the once a blue moon brisk walking after dinner. I can describe every physical attributes of my father more comprehensively but it will end up being some of the same attributes of any other man in the

My Father: An Influential Person In My Life

It took me a few years to realize what an extraordinary influence my mother has been on my life. She's the kind of person who always has time for her kids, always interested in learning something new, would sacrifice herself for her family, and is easily the strongest woman in my eyes. Growing up, I know I haven't been the best son in the world but if you were to ask her, she would say otherwise. Looking back, my mom is the most positive and important influence on my life. My mother actually is an ordinary woman but in her tiny appearance shines an extraordinary fortitude, perseverance, an altruistic soul and is very kind hearted. The kind of mother who brought me up with her whole kindly heart, the kind of persistent woman with...show more content...

Growing up in a poor family, my mother must work very hard to earn her living since an early age. Due to shortage of material condition, she herself has trained an extremely strong will and ability to sedately deal with each difficulty and stand up to move on from her failures. I vividly remember the calamity poured down on my family when my mother' business went bankrupt. We had to sell our house and leave for another town to begin from "zero". This critical time made every member in my family really upset. But it was my mother, the persistent and brave women, strongly stood up and started over again after this great adversity. Each of her failures, her grief, and the way she overcame difficulties to move on has made an indelible impression in my mind, leaving me with precious lessons about the values of strong wills and indefatigable endeavors to firmly confront with setbacks and bravely conquer them. There was time when I felt that there was no more hope in life, that I felt very weary and was about to give up everything. After the constant moving from one place to another and my grades slipping down the drain I was unable to deal with any small problems and felt embarrassed to meet my relatives and friends. However, that was also the time that I acquired from my mother how to learn from her mistakes and developed my own set of tools to take more lessons from them to realize the proper meanings of determination.

Mason Cain Fausey, when that name comes to mine all I do is get a huge smile on my face. He has been the most influential person in my life, I don't know what I would do without him. He has helped me through everything I ever went through and always stands by my side I don't know where I would be without him. Mason has made my life a better one simply by always encouraging me, supporting me no matter what, and helping me up when I fall down. I've known Mason since I was 12 years old, so just a little over six years now. One thing I can tell you is that he has encouraged me to try my hardest since day one. He never lets me just "give up", he sees things in me that nobody else does. One time, not too long ago it was the night before I took my CNA test, I was so nervous and scared I thought I was going to fail, he stayed up with me to help me practice my skills being my fake patient. He made sure I had everything down pat before the next day. He was the one who encouraged me to start college. He is my rock....show more content...

He has stood by me no matter what I've wanted to do. The day I told him I wanted to be a nurse he went out and bought me a medical terminology book so that I could be ahead. Or even when I decided to get bangs, worst decision ever but even though everyone was telling me not to, he supported my horrible decision. He has been my backbone since day one, when I would talk about wanting to be a paranormal detective, which I don't even think exists. Mason has always been my biggest fan and I love him for

The most influential person in my life would be Cammie Cochran. I've been friends with Cammie since kindergarten. I have this picture of us when we were at a Halloween party in kindergarten. I was dressed as a white Unicorn and she was dressed as some kind of bride. I was holding up a piece of candy and she looked at the candy as if she had wanted it. In Middle School, we drifted apart and she went to a different friend group, but by the time seventh grade hit she was back in our little friend group. We had 4 other friends in the group which included Laury, Audrey, Emilie, and Kacey. It had truly upset me when we drifted because she knew everything about me and there was no one else I could honestly tell everything to without thinking they...show more content... Now I can usually tell when she doesn't like someone or something because she makes a weird face when looking at it or when she gets mad she just looks at me and I can normally figure out what she's mad about without her saying one word. In Eighth grade, she helped me feel better when my sister was in the hospital. A piece of information about Cammie is that she is eccentric, but very caring when needed. Cammie is someone that can turn an awkward moment into a funny one. She spends a lot of time with her boyfriend when she's not at school. At school, we have about 4 classes together. One of the classes we have together is Sign language but it's trial class to see if everything runs smoothly enough for others to take the class in oncoming years instead of having to take Spanish for their foreign language. When I have trouble in my classes i am usually able to go to Cammie for helping knowing that she most likely already has her work done and can help me with mine. Like in math class when I don't understand the way the teacher is teaching something and she does, then she comes over and explains it to me in a way I can

Throughout my youth I was surrounded by people that influenced me to be the best I can be at anything. My biggest influential people were my parents they pushed me to always be on top of my school work and extra–curricular activities. Such as times I wanted to give up on something my parents would always encourage me to keep trying but to never up on a dream that I've wanted to accomplish since I was a young kid. With their help they continue to support me through every aspect of both my education and my passion for sports. My passion for sports has helped me to grow to help influence kids that are younger than me to help them to grow and love the sport as much as I did.

The most influential person in my life is my mother. She has been there from the start and has nursed me to health after a premature birth. She was there for my first day of preschool and has always been there for me by driving me to competition and staying during the award ceremonies, even though I don't usually win. She is a respectable figure, especially due to her educational background, and has taught me countless important principles about life. In order to establish some background, my mother was born in Bago, Myanmar, a desolate and impoverished place relative to the United States. She often describes her independent nature during her childhood, having to live with her grandparents with little oversight due to the busyness of her parents. Moreover, since she was the oldest of her siblings, she had to take care of her siblings often by cooking for them and bathing them even though she was in her adolescence. Even after she graduated, she pursued postsecondary education in order to enter the medical field. At this time, Burma was especially under great turmoil due to political unrest. The unrest can be epitomized in the uprising on August 8, 1988 as thousands stood in the streets of Yangon to protest as troops violently attempted to suppress them (Wallace et al.). As a result, my mother's education was interrupted, but she was still determined to earn her medical degree and leave for the United States. Her hard work and dedication helped result in my relatively

Most Influential Person Analysis

The single most influential person in my life is someone I have only seen twice in the past year: my father. He has given me more than any other single person on this planet. He gave me the desire to do better. He gave me the focus and the hunger to be intellectually curious. He gave me these things because he never had them.

My father has been in and out of prison since April 29th, 2011. He gave me an understanding of adult life at far too young an age, and he left me with trust issues. He gave me the only prominent memory from my elementary school years: waking up at 2:00 AM to go find him when he went missing. He gave me loneliness during the two years of elementary school my parents were separated. He gave me a love for tossing the Frisbee...show more content...

My father gave me momentary hope. He got a job as a cabbie, and he gave us some extra money. We still were behind on our bills, but he gave us some peace of mind.

I had surgery on April 11th, 2012. He gave me that last goodbye before we drove to Minneapolis for the operation. My mom called home on our way back the next day, and the cop answered the phone. They had searched the place again. There was a ninth charge now. He gave me the new worst day of my life.

He gave me independence that day. He gave me the ability to make my way in the world as an adult. He gave me an opportunity to teach others about my story. He gave me the desire to speak up.

He gave me the need to escape from my daily life, and acting become that escape. He gave me one of the best feelings of my life every time I took that final bow. He gave me the wish that he could see me on that stage, but he gave me the assurance that he was proud. For all the lies he's fed me, I believe him.

He gave me a distrust of those in my family who saw him as the enemy. He gave me a distrust of Minnesota's justice system, specifically when it wouldn't allow him his bipolar medication. He gave me Axe deodorant for Christmas because that's the only thing the prison allowed him to

I've been influenced by many people in my life; unfortunately, most of them have not been good influences. However, since I became a Christian, having positive, influential people in my life is normal. Moreover, there is one person, in particular, other than Jesus, who has influenced my life tremendously and continues to do so; his name is Issac Detiz. I have learned a great deal from him and his work, and my life has never been better. Furthermore, Issac Deitz is a major influence in my life several reasons. His lifestyle is a major inspiration to me because Deitz appreciates the time he has by not wasting a bit of. Deitz's fulfilling way of life not only influences me to live every day like it's my last but makes me confident to try new things. His career choices induce me that I can also opt for diverse professions and become successful. He is a miscellaneous director that makes everything from tour promotion videos to movies, and his range of work varies from screwball comedies to solemn drama. He doesn't just make movies about Judgment Day to scare people into getting saved; he makes movies that people can understand and relate to. He is also a phenomenal writer and uses his own experiences as his muse and doesn't try to write a "best–seller" just to make some quick cash. Besides being a great writer and director, he is a talented comedian, and he doesn't have use cheeky jokes to get a lot of laughs. These qualities in his work make me immensely confident that I can choose more than one occupation that I love to do, and I don't have to surrender to secular demand to be a success. He has tremendous faith, and it stimulates me to strengthen my faith. I regard Deitz as one of my Christian mentors because of his strong devotion to the Lord. He has an extremely humorous, up–beat attitude about everything he does, which is a major motivator for me to smile even though I am having a bad day. He openly writes about his shortcomings in his Christian life to give other Christians

The Most Influential Person in My Life Essay

Influential People in My Life

In my seventeen years of life many events have helped me develop into the strapping young man I am today. Despite the countless happenings that have influenced my being, only three have notably impacted my life. These include the dichotomy between my life here in the United States and the lives of my cousins in Mexico, the divorce of my parents and how I experienced that as a third grader, and the introduction of four people into my life. These occurrences by no means have all been positive, but they have helped influence my outlook on my life, my family, my friends, and my faith. I am the child of Laura Elena Miramon and Miguel Chapa III. As a child, my mother lived in the border city of Mexicali and my father in El Centro, California. In his earlier years of life, my father moved to Mexicali then to the city that Mexicali bordered: Calexico. He later married my mother and brought her to the United States. Unlike all the other branches of my parents' families, only theirs managed to emigrate from Mexico into the United States of America. When I say "branches", I mean immediate family. My father and his parents were the only ones to live in the United States. My mother had a different situation, she married my father and moved to this country leaving all her family (sisters, cousins, parents) back in Mexico. Fast forward a few years and in the town of El Centro (the town right next to Calexico) an infant Miguel Chapa IV sleeps quietly in his crib. Now this event may not

It is easy to say that a parent has had the most influence on your life, they taught you how to walk, talk, drink and among many other things hopefully right from wrong. A good parent is there for you most of your life, quick to lend a hand or offer advice (unless it's your mother–in–law) when needed, but the trait that impacted my life the most was the integrity my father exhibited with me and the people lucky enough to have met him. My Father was born to a farmer in NJ a few short years after the depression, learned the lessons that only hard labor can teach from a young age. Working on the farm is not easy, the days are long, the chores are extremely physical and dirty and if you're a kid all this happens before you even go off to...show more content...

If you were to ask my father how he made the tough decisions in life he would tell you it was simple. Well maybe it is when you have an uncompromising set of ideals and sure sense of what is fair. I can remember when I was only 10 years old and my father was offered a high level position with his company but the position would require for us to move to Texas. We lived in a small town with a great school and lots of friends, my mother and father were both involved in the volunteer Fire Department and I think I knew everyone in town. Everyone looked out for each other and most important we felt safe. My dad easily turned down the position and never regretted it, although I am certain on a professional level he would have enjoyed the challenge. To this day I often think back to that sacrifice when I am analyzing similar options in my career. The first priority in my life is creating a stable nurturing environment for my family, not buying them the most video games. My Dad did ok making money and supporting our family, we had a nice house and plenty of toys and TV's but what I remember the most was that he was home every night and weekend to enjoy them with us not at the office. My father is a big football fan and even wrote in my baby book that he hoped I would grow up loving the game as much as he does. Well his dream came true as I am a self proclaimed football junkie. A few months prior to my Freshman year of High School I announced I would be

My uncle has the privilege to say he has accomplished his childhood dream of being a professional football player. While inhigh school, he was a four–year varsity starter for Lebanon High School's football team. When Craig was playing at Lebanon he happened to be player of the only football team in Lebanon High School that has won a sectional championship. He was always the player who practiced on days the team had off, or he was the player who stayed after practice; he would regularly go to the weight room and train. All of this

Essay on Most Influential Person

The most influential person in my life is Frank Guedon. Frank is not the most influential person because he is perfect or because he does everything right. He influences me through the things he has and how he got those things. Through my eyes he has the ideal way of life. He works until he has whatever he wants. He has enough money to buy a beautiful house and fill it with expensive treasures, instead he lives thirty miles out of the city on two–hundred acres of land filled with animals, motorized vehicles, an airplane, and not to mention the six children that roam around his property. I look up to him through thefamily he has created for himself. He is a man of many colors and will be hard to describe in just a few short paragraphs. Frank Guedon is my father, and there will be descriptions of his attitude, his style, his family, and his work ethics.

One–way dad influences me is through his attitude. He is always extremely polite to the people he meets, his coworkers, and his patients. He has good morals, he believes private school is safer and has put all his kids in private school and through a University college. He has always taught my brothers and me to fear God and to attend church on Sundays. His character is quite funny to me. He is always upbeat and cracking jokes with everyone. At his job, he sounds like a game announcer. He calls his patients like they have won a prize. The most influential person in my life is my high school youth pastor at my church, Jeff Shicks. Jeff has always, and continues to be, there for me whenever I need him. He puts everyone else's needs before his own, and is always willing to lend a hand. Jeff is definitely the most influential person in my life for three reasons, he offers valuable Christian advice rooted in scripture, he is selfless, and he provides me with a positive example of how a father should treat a daughter.
