FAQ’S Why do I need a ticket to attend? Because this is an exclusive event, every attendee must have a ticket. This helps ensure that almost every player at the event is from one of our leagues as well as help to cover the cost of putting this event on for you. It’s well worth it!
If my spouse/guest isnt’ interested in playing poker but wants to go to the party, what should they do? We will have Party Only tickets available at Registration for $35.
Do I need a ticket to the event if I am only playing in the National Championship? No ticket is needed just to play in the National Championship, but you will be missing out on everything else going on!
Why are the sale prices only good until August 1st? In order to plan properly, we need to have an early idea on how many players we will be expecting. So the earlier you get your ticket, the bigger the savings for you!

Here’s how it works. LEVEL 1 – Quarter Finals Saturday Nov 2nd – 12 Noon
Quarter Final qualifiers will be playing in a shootout format (single table) with the Top 2 from each table moving on to the Semi Finals.
LEVEL 2 – Semi Finals Monday Nov 4th – 1 pm
Semi Final qualifiers will be playing in a shootout format (single table) with the Top 2 from each table moving on to the Championship Finals and your shot at the $50,000 Prize Pool!
LEVEL 3 – GAPC Championship FINALS! This is what you have been playing for! This is your shot at taking home some big cash, and $20,000 goes The Champion! Are you ready? Day 1: Tuesday Nov 5th @ 12 Noon This is a Multi Table Tournament (standard) where we will be playing down to the Final 100 on Day 1 Day 2: Wednesday Nov 6th @ 12 Noon The Final 100 will continue play at Noon until we are down to the Top 20 (in the money)

GAPC FAQs What is the $ amount next to each tournament? These are standard cash tournaments, and that is the total cost to buy into each. The casino takes their cut for costs of dealers, etc…with the rest going to the prize pool and paid out to approximately the Top 10% finishers.
Do I need to purchase a ticket to play? Yes, to play in any of the cash tournaments players will need their GAPC Ticket.
What do I get for my ticket? For the Party and Poker ticket you have access to all the cash tournaments and nightly parties as well as a GAPC tshirt and card protector when you arrive. For the Poker Only ticket you won’t have access to the party.
Do I need to stay at Planet Hollywood? Not necessarily. However, the time and cost of waiting and paying for a cab will get old fast. Experience the entire event, we certainly recommend staying on property.
Are the hotel rates reasonable? Absolutely. The regular rate (even online) for that week at Planet Hollywood are nearly twice the price. We spent a lot of time negotiating a great rate for our players.
Do I need to stay the entire time? Not necessarily, but why would you want to leave Vegas early?
What’s this rumor about a GAPC Reality TV show? The rumors are true. We are putting together a reality show for the GAPC in November and YOU could have a chance to participate in it. More details coming soon.
If my partner doesn’t play poker, do they need to purchase a ticket to go to the party? Non-poker players can purchase a Party Only Ticket at Registration for $35.
How do I book my room by phone? For guests that prefer to phone in their reservations, they may call the Reservation Center at (866) 317-1829 to secure a reservation on your group block. Callers may also use the group code to identify the group, SMWTE3.”
