In Northern Cyprus, surrogacy as a procedure is unregulated, but it has been a popular destination for hetero couples, same sex couple and single men for the past 15 years. Surrogacy services based in Northern Cyprus have become a safe and internationally acceptable legal practice.

The legal basis of surrogacy in TRNC is determined by Law 57-2014, the Law on the Rules of Human Cell, Tissue and Organ Transport Regulation Number: 607/2009, Date: 26.082009 Urea Treatment Centers and Methods Regulation.

The clinics require neither Marriage Certificate no Medical Certificate to start the process.

The names of the biological father and the surrogate mother go on the birth certificate and there is no mechanism to take the surrogate off the birth certificate.

WCOB provides full legal support and assists in obtaining all the necessary documents to help the intended parents safely leave Cyprus with the child/children.

Program Stages

Administration:

• consultation based on medical history

• preparation/translation of all paperwork

• consultation with the fertility specialist

Medical Procedures:

• sperm sampling, vitrification, semen analysis, and storage

IVF:

• patient stimulation including medication

• patient egg retrieval

• fertilization (ICSI) and embryo creation

• embryo cultivation until blastocyst (day 5)

• embryo storage for 1 year

• *NB Genetic testing of the embryos is not included in the price of the package. We recommend you select PGS24 (for all 24 chromosomes). You can either purchase a pack of up to 8 embryos or pay per embryo.

Surrogate Selection:

• medical examination and legal screening of the potential surrogate

• surrogate matching (up to 12 weeks from embryo creation)

• contract with the surrogate

• surrogate stimulation and hormonal preparation

• embryo transfer (1)

Pregnancy and Prenatal Care Week 12 of pregnancy 9 000 $

Clinical Procedures:

• pregnancy confirmation and monitoring

• surrogate hospitalization during pregnancy

Surrogate Support:

• surrogate transportation to / from the clinic for regular appointments

• accommodation for the surrogate in North Cyprus for the duration of pregnancy

Delivery and Exit Process

Clinical Procedures:

• childbirth at a private maternity hospital

• paternal DNA test

Full Surrogate Compensation during pregnancy and after birth

Post-Birth Support:

• private room for the IPs at the maternity hospital

Legal Assistance:

• assistance with a birth certificate

• preparation of all documents necessary for the exit process

• surrogate visits to the embassy/consulate (if required)
