Thanks For Making Operation Christmas Child A Great Success!

The vision statement of The Woodlands Christian Academy is to equip servant leaders to impact their world and eternity for Jesus Christ. One of the ways we incorporate this vision is through missions projects. Our upper school students participate in mission trips and community service opportunities. In lower school, students learn about missions in chapel and through special mission projects. Each year our entire student body participates in Operation Christmas Child an outreach program of the international relief organization, Samaritan’s Purse. Since 1993, more than 94 million children in 130 countries have experienced God’s love through the shoe box gifts distributed through Operation Christmas Child. Through this project, our students can truly touch the world as they prepare simple gifts for children in foreign lands. We are pleased to announce that Woodlands Christian collected 480 shoe boxes this year! Thank you Woodlands Christian students and families! ...I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. Matthew 25:40

Lower school students load 480 shoe box gifts into the Woodlands Christian bus for delivery to the Operation Christmas Child distribution center.
