ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT NEWS Warrior Football Season Comes To An End Warrior football ended its season last Friday night with a game against Bay Area Christian, the number one team in the district, and came away with a 49-14 loss. Under new TAPPS playoff rules, only the top two teams in each district automatically make the playoffs. After the automatic qualifiers, other teams in the district receive at-large bids to complete the 16-team playoff field.

With an overall record of 5-5, the Warriors fell just shy of receiving an at-large playoff bid.

Despite a season plagued with injuries to key players, the Warriors fought hard with tremendous effort every game. Thanks to the players and coaches for showing true Warrior spirit and pride by giving it their all this season!

ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT NEWS Warrior Volleyball Players Receive Honors The Warrior varsity volleyball team recently announced players earning All District and Academic All State honors.

They are as follows: Academic All State - Rachel Earle All District 1st Team - Rachel Earle 2nd Team - Summer Wheeler Sydney Vanderpool Honorable Mention - Katie Rogers Abby Caron

Warrior Golf Update The Warrior golf team finished the fall season by competing in the Conroe Invitational on Monday, November 12. James Ray (junior) finished in a tie for fourth place.

The spring season begins in January with the prestigious Woodlands High School Invitational. Top teams from across the state of Texas will participate in this tournament.

The team will continue to practice and prepare as the look toward improving upon last year’s third place finish at the TAPPS state golf tournament.
