Sounds Of The Season The sounds of Christmas filled the air on Wednesday evening, December 4 as the Woodlands Christian band program presented its winter concert. The audience delighted in hearing Ode to Joy and other Christmas songs performed by the 5th grade band. The middle school band had the crowd swinging with a jazzy version of My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music. The high school band made spirits soar with selections which included the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. As the number of band members is rapidly expanding, the program is most grateful to our Woodlands Christian Booster Club for their generous donation of $1,500 to purchase a portable stage. This device will be used to expand the existing stage and is similar to the one pictured at right above.
