Head of School Notes -- by Julie Ambler Every school year flies, but this one seems faster than ever! We’ve moved into the Joshua Academic Center, practices for springs sports have begun, and our seniors are preparing for graduation and college with recent acceptances to Wheaton College, Colorado School of Mines, Hofstra, Samford, Auburn, the University of Alabama, LSU, the University of Texas, Texas A & M, TCU, Baylor and many others. Enrollment contracts from existing students for the 2014-2015 school year are due in two weeks, on February 6 at 4:00 p.m., and we sincerely desire to serve your family again next year. The Admissions Office is enjoying a steady stream of inquiries and, in order to reserve your place and take advantage of lower tuition rates, please return your contract to the Business Office before the deadline date of February 6. On Friday, February 7, we will begin looking at open spots for right-fit candidates to join us, offering contracts to some of them, and establishing wait pools for grades that reach capacity. Any current student contracts that have not been returned by our deadline will be added to the wait pool and re-considered as space permits. Because we already have a record number of 119 applications for next year (double the number of applications at this time last year), we can already surmise that spots will not be available for everyone. If you have questions about the

After submitting your contract, please pick up complimentary t-shirts for your family in The Armory and look for additional information regarding Spirit Sunday. This is a Woodlands Christian community opportunity to wear your celebration t-shirt to church on February 9 and show your Warrior pride. Spirit Sunday was a huge success last year, and we look forward to more fun again this year. We are grateful to each one of you for partnering with The Woodlands Christian Academy for the education of your precious children. We know that you make a significant financial investment to bring your children to our school. We are humbled by your commitment, and it is both a joy and a delight to serve your family every day. Please know that at Woodlands Christian, we will continually strive to give your children the very best Christian college-preparatory education spiritually, academically, physically and socially.
