Queen of Jeans
Dare to Dream
by Diane Gilman
When I was born in 1945, little girls like me had their lives laid out for them - get a lower education, marriage by 20 at the latest, have children (lots) and a husband (of course). But I was unlike other girls. I burned for a business career in fashion and my family was horrified. But I was obsessed. I had no mentors, no examples, no paths to follow. But then the ‘60’s hit and I knew this was my time to begin. First I started dressing iconic rock stars in my artistically embellished denim during the ‘60s - ’70s LA music scene. Then around 1974, I was on to New York to forge my path into the fashion industry during a huge growth period for ‘fast fashion’, department stores and malls I went on to introduce washable silk to America in 1988 with my line The Diane Gilman Collection and finally going onto television via QVC and the Home Shopping Network in 1994 In 2006, I had my ‘lightbulb moment’ and launched DG2 Jeans, a jean made for the middle-aged body
06 / WOMEN THRIVE COVER STORY
What does your 50+ year career represent?
The ‘art of reinvention’ and the ‘value of authenticity’ Be true to yourself
Keyword: Reinvention Why? Because in 2017 at the height of my fashion career, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer I had to stop my meteoric climb and redefine myself to handle cancer treatment. When I came out the other side of that disease, I was no longer the same person who entered it. Reinvention was a priority and a necessity, not a choice.
My business philosophy: Be courageous, be a pioneer, be an entrepreneurial rule-breaker!
Professional focus- I believe this is the age of the niche business. Personalized brands (Etsy, DG2, Un-Tuckit) are the era of serving the underrepresented audience.
Professional Path- ‘The road less traveled’ I have formed and built several fashion businesses over my 50-year career and each of them was built organically. From my first boutique in LA in 1965 (I was 20) named I’m a Hog for You Baby, to introducing washable silk to America in 1990 with my Diane Gilman Collection to my true ‘lightbulb’ fashion moment in 2005, at the age of 60, the DG2 jean - jeans built for middle-age women That one customer-based idea catapulted my brand, DG2, to $100 million-a-year at retail and made my name iconic in the denim industry
“I started my own business because I believed in myself and my talent.”
Provide words of wisdom for another woman.
Dare to dream and dream big!
The perspective and luxury at being 78 years old of looking back over those ‘building years’ and realizing I overcame every obstacle (many!), not only survived, but thrived!
I started my own business because I loved fashion so much but no one would hire me I had no formal fashion education, no industry contacts, no family support
I started my own business because I believed in myself and my talent and because I absolutely loved my craft-fashion design
How did I have such a long and successful career?
Utter devotion 24/7 to my business and the need to succeed Failure was simply not an option! Best advice to young, female entrepreneurs? Believe in yourself and know, just because no one around you may be supportive or understanding of your ‘wow’ product or services concept, this obstacle doesn't make it any less potentially successful. It just makes those around you observers, rather than building partners.
If you saw a woman struggling in business, what advice would you share with them?
My favorite saying is “money makes blind men see and deaf men hear”. In other words, once you prove you have a money-making concept, funds and support will be abundant.
If you have a consumer-based original idea I am not a huge fan of trying to sell and launch an idea you are passionate about to a corporate entity In corporations there’s too many layers of approval, a huge risk of having your idea committee diluted to a ‘safe’ hybrid that loses its original power and impact >>
WOMEN THRIVE / 07
“Everything great that happened to me in my career came after I’d reached the age of 45, which was unheard of in such a youth obsessed industry.”
COVER STORY 08 / WOMEN THRIVE
Words of wisdom for beginning female entrepreneurs
Stand your ground. Be willing to start your business journey alone and ‘think like a man’ or at least act like you think like a man. Develop a very even and non-emotional business exterior!
And finally, do not ‘time yourself out’ by setting rigid success expiration dates. Everything great that happened to me in my career came after the age of 45, which was unheard of in such a youth-obsessed industry. Yes, I got discouraged many times, but I loved what I was doing and told myself to never give up. I wish for all of you as long and satisfying an entrepreneurial adventure as I had the privilege of living Good Luck!
In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?
My personal path and legacy would be empathy, compassion and community I hope to give fellow breast cancer patients strength and belief in their own survival
I also hope to move the ‘social needle’ towards celebrating women who are 50+ to give older women opportunities they deserve but never imagined were available
I am working to give mature women who feel aged out of the workplace and silenced in a youthobsessed society, a strong voice and avenues to use that voice effectively
Hopefully, women will fondly remember me as their champion, as someone who really cared and fought tirelessly to improve their lives
What's next for you?
“Think like a man” or at least act like you think like a man.”
Next is authoring my 4th published book on how to age smarter and live longer. It will include lots of facts, collaborations and ‘how to’ guides to get the best out of these precious years!
“I am working to give mature women who feel aged out of the workplace and silenced in a youth- obsessed society, a strong voice . ”

A Phoenix's Journey of Resilience, Hope, and Healing
by Anna Berardi
What if we could rewrite the story of our diagnosis?
Iwonder How many Phoenixes do we all have inside of us just waiting to be freed to rise?
There are unpredictable life challenges that test the very essence of our being. Turning points that threaten to consume us in the flames of hardship. But from the ashes of despair, there rises a reborn Phoenix – a symbol of a resilient spirit that refuses to be extinguished. My journey through my own personal storm began in 2012, when a single phone call left me shattered, and set me on an undiscovered path of transformation, at the age of 32.
Ring-ring…On a quiet evening, back from work in NYC, my doctor dropped the bomb after reading my recent MRI results on the phone: “You are in the very early stage of a health condition called Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis.” Time froze. My entire world dimmed, but a spark of resilience ignited. Little did I know that flicker would be a flame of spirit that refused to be extinguished.
At the time, I was living the best life of my career with UNICEF around the world I was thriving on the surface, but I was burning out on the inside The universe had plans to shake me up and reconnect me with my true self
Although my left leg was numb, I didn’t feel very sick in my spirit Deep inside, I knew I could heal myself I refused to surrender to the darkness that engulfed me. Instead, I directly turned to the power of Soka Gakkai Buddhist practice – a safe place where I could find refuge from the raging storm within, and rediscover my strength and inner guide. With each breath and chant, I reclaimed a sense of peace, a sense of purpose in the face of overwhelming odds.
Confronted with a Western medical system that offered palliative care, pills and injections, I knew that my body needed a gentle natural path to recovery. Turning to the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, I embraced a holistic healing approach that honored the interconnectedness of body, mind and spirit. In Kerala, India, a specialized clinic for neurological disorders guided me through a four-year healing journey of restoration and recovery. Immersed in herbal remedies, oil treatments and nourishing practices, I discovered a renewed vitality and strength My MRI results were much better, tangible evidence of my healing progress And I could feel the power in my left leg again It was the most beautiful feeling ever, like a newborn discovering new things!
10 / WOMEN THRIVE HEALING
Ayurveda revealed the power of aligning our body's balance with the natural flow of life force – the prana It showed me that when we nourish ourselves on all levels (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually), true recovery is possible – even at the cellular level! Now, I'm a testament to the transformative potential of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom in modern healing
Awareness is a choice, hope is a practice Body and mind go hand in hand: physical wellness can only be achieved in conjunction with emotional wellness. I confronted my past traumas and unresolved knots, with the support of a trusted coach and therapist. They say you have to die a couple of times to truly start living. For me, the metaphorical death came not once, but many times over in the past - in my damaged health, in the unraveling of my identity, in the breaking of my heart. Each loss sparked a rebirth, a renewed spirit and soul that propelled me forward on my journey towards embracing my whole humanness.
Now, I'm a Phoenix, rising from despair to soar into the boundless skies of possibility. As I started to rebalance, new doors opened. I've created educational programs on social issues in middle and high schools, gained three yoga certifications, taken on Buddhist leadership, found love, and become a mother The envisioned motherhood has been my beacon of hope, the lighthouse during my long healing journey Each step brought a newfound purpose and meaning Each day became a testament to my resilience, to the strength that lay dormant within me, waiting to be awakened
every single day
Nowadays, I feel I am truly finding my way back to my path I’m becoming a mompreneur coach on a mission to found a holistic educational center I’m creating an imperfect, but sustainable, life of value that is aligned with my body-mind balance, purpose, and family I am not there yet, but there are sparks that are manifesting into success
What are you grateful for? I am so grateful for the journey I am on. I am also grateful for my earlier illness. I hold deep gratitude for my diagnosis, an unlikely ally that revealed a formidable force within me. A diagnosis doesn't have to be a life sentence. We can make conscious healthy choices and trust our bodies with patience and persistence. So we can rewrite the story of our diagnosis as a catalyst for greater life expansion.
Overall, my story has taught me that real heart-led happiness is sparked from within, and our struggles are our greatest strengths. My healing journey is far from over. With each step forward, I carry with me the wisdom of overcoming hardships and turning them into opportunities that serve a bigger life purpose, one breath at a time. There are many phoenixes within us, just waiting to be set free to rise Let them be strong and spark up in the world
If you are curious to know more about my whole life story, it will be featured in the third edition of the Women Thrive Book Series, coming out this month, June 2024 >>

SIX RECOVERY TIPS TO REWRITE THE STORY OF YOUR DIAGNOSIS:
1) MINDSET: nurture a positive mindset and belief to get healed through meditation and mindfulness practices. Trust the healing capacity of your body with patience, persistence, and determination. Your illness does not define your potential, or your destiny. You are not your illness, you are meant for much more.
2) INTUITION: listen to your body's wisdom to find the right doctor, therapy and healing approach for you.
3) NOURISHMENT: boost your well-being with a wholesome, anti-inflammatory diet rich in nutrients, along with vitamins and supplements Balance out proper rest, adequate exercise, and movement
4) SUPPORT: be surrounded and cocooned by the right tribe, nourishing and caring relationships in an uplifting environment
5) INTEGRITY: address your emotional wellness and make peace with your past: confront your buried traumas and unresolved knots with the help of a trusted therapist/coach/practitioner
6) SUSTAINABLE CHANGE: reinvent your life to make it organically healthier and sustainable Decrease your stress levels Align your lifestyle with your values and ultimate purpose

Interview with Subconscious Health Practitioner, Paige Frisone
Thank you so much for having me today A little about myself? My name is Paige Frisone and I’m a Subconscious Health Practitioner, International and Award-Winning Impact Speaker, Published Author, and Professional Writer I help men and women around the globe struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction to heal on a cellular (and therefore sustainable) level by locating the root memories and emotions that trigger presentday stress, in order to help them attain and maintain optimal health and wellness. It is my mission to help everyone know that we are designed to heal and capable of it, regardless of limiting beliefs, life experiences, and diagnoses.
“I STARTED MY BUSINESS ONCE I GOT CLEAR THAT SUBCONSCIOUS EMOTIONAL PROCESSING WAS NOT JUST THE BLINDSPOT IN MY RECOVERY.”
Q. Everyone has a story behind the beginning of their business. Why did you start your business?
This question is so big, so let’s jump right into it I began this business because, quite frankly, I was a casualty of Western medicine I lost a decade of my life to anorexia, depression, anxiety, ineffective prescription medication, and exercise addiction
These cyclical experiences spent in and out of doctor’s offices, varying levels of hospitalizations, and therapy, eventually made me question why my recovery wasn’t sustaining itself
I was forced to look at two of the constant variables in my life: myself and the treatment system at large Though I had studied trauma and holistic health in school, interned for a clinical herbalist, and experienced various cognitive behavioral models as a long-term client, I found no one was working to address (or heal) the root traumas that got us there in the first place
So, I started my business once I got clear that subconscious emotional processing was not just the blindspot in my recovery, but the blindspot within the Westernized medical and treatment systems, too. The work I offer now is what helped me find sustainable recovery at a time the system that was ‘supposed to work’, didn’t.
I was passionate enough about what I’d discovered that the body is designed to heal, that 95% of our human experience is subconscious, and that there’s a way to sustainably upgrade our root traumas (both known and unknown) to launch a business about it.
Using an integrative emotional processing system, consisting of over 14+ modalities, I now help others use their invisible, subconscious brain as a tool to co-create a life they truly desire to live.
As you can see, the origin story of this business is not separate from my own personal healing story, which I love My professional ‘why’ is forever fueled by a bottomless passion to not only fill gaps in the current healthcare system, but to help pave the way towards a hopeful new one
14 / WOMEN THRIVE INTERVIEW
Q. How are you making an impact with your business or project?
Now five years medication-free, I consider the ways I’m still healing from that time period, because it informs the ways I work to make an impact presently Gratefully, I find myself now able to serve those more fully and authentically because of it
I often attract clients who have experienced negative impacts of psychiatry, therapy, and Westernized treatment protocol in general. Not only can we address the layered traumas that have accumulated from a life of treatment, but we can tend to the origin traumas living underneath them.
Time and time again, I’ve witnessed the natural byproduct of healing to be self-empowerment, selfremembrance, and self-regeneration.
Beyond my 1:1 client container, I’ve worked to share my personal story on stages and through writing to inspire as many people as possible. I know how unbearable it is to live life fighting death, warring with yourself day in and day out.
For this reason, I’ve just launched my first ever co-authored Women Thrive Vol. II: Inspiring True Stories of Women Overcoming Adversity, which dives deeper into my experience healing from various traumas into a life of embodied wellness I wrote it with care and intent to aid the hearts of those seeking someone or something to help them on their way
This work matters But the impact can’t entirely be defined by me It’s defined by the testimonials I receive, the text messages I wake up to, and the gratitudes that come in floods It comes through the visible reach of what I’m creating and the invisible reach that I’ll never truly know It’s felt within me and around me and for that I’m humbled and grateful
Q. What's your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
This question brings me to values. I know it took me some years to truly solidify my personal values, but it helps put things in perspective when words like ‘success’ pop up. Success is subjective. It’s different for everyone. I find freedom in that.
“TIME AND TIME AGAIN, I’VE WITNESSED THE NATURAL BYPRODUCT OF HEALING TO BE SELF-EMPOWERMENT, SELF-REMEMBRANCE, AND SELFREGENERATION.”
For those who desire success in life, I would guide you to play the tape forward, toward what’s unconditional. In other words, when the going gets tough, when the chips fall awry, I would ask, What matters to you? Who matters?
If everything you ever thought you needed fell away, what remains? To me, whatever remains is the constant. That is the success.
As the reverred poet Rumi states, “What you seek is seeking you ” You have everything inside of you that you need to be successful Success isn’t something you become, it’s something you access It’s something you innately are If you’re seeking it, it’s seeking you Go deeper in >>
WOMEN THRIVE / 15
Q. What has been the most impactful decision in your career?
YAs a kid, I had a million dreams, but I always thought I had to be just one thing Eventually, (subconsciously), this became the root of a hugely taxing existential crisis on my soul. The most impactful decision I’ve made in my career was subtle, internal, and covert. I eventually decided not to limit myself to one label, one identity, or one passion. I figured I’d see what happened if I opened the door to infinite possibilities. I decided to honor my multidimensionality, my creative spirit, and my gifts. The freedom I feel in my business goes unmatched. It’s why I’ve chosen entrepreneurship; not only to take care of my business my way, but to be cared for by it. I remember reading a book once that coined the term ‘multipassionate entrepreneur’. That was a selfidentifying moment for me.
I will always strive to honor the complexity of not just myself in business, but my clients, too. The beauty of life lives in this complexity. No more playing small No more bending over backwards for anyone else It’s time to be all of you Finally
“ I WILL ALWAYS STRIVE TO HONOR THE COMPLEXITY OF NOT JUST MYSELF IN BUSINESS, BUT MY CLIENTS, TOO. THE BEAUTY OF LIFE LIVES IN THIS COMPLEXITY.”
Q. Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
Ah, yes! Let’s definitely connect You can find more about me and the work I offer at my website, www innerrealmwellness life While you’re there, feel free to claim my free gift to you, a comprehensive affirmation and resource kit for sustained health and wellness Additionally, I’m active on both Instagram and Facebook @innerrealmwellness, where I work to provide more free resources, content, and inspiration Don’t hesitate to reach out and introduce yourself I look forward to connecting

Embracing Autoimmune Recovery to Help Others
Interview with Melissa Rose
Hi I’m Melissa Rose, autoimmune recovery specialist, entrepreneur and passionate advocate for individuals diagnosed with a chronic or autoimmune illness, sharing hope that they can CHANGE their health trajectory.
Q. It's an honor to speak with you today. Why don't you give us some details about you and your story? How did you get to where you are today?
“I would love to be the voice of hope that people hear in their heads and hearts.”
It began when I was 9 years old and started to experience marked fatigue and joint pain, that I now know was early symptoms of what was diagnosed many years later as multiple sclerosis (MS). Those symptoms came and went throughout high school and I didn’t think too much of it until in my Junior year of high school, my mom took me for an MRI scan because she was afraid I had MS She had MS as did most women in my family and she was recognizing the signs The MRI came up clear so I was sent home to rest In my 3rd year of college, my body gave out completely I was the breakfast cook for the campus students and one morning tried to get out of bed and ended up in a heap on the floor with my legs unable to support me
Symptoms continued to come and go throughout my early 20s as I got married and became a Mom By the age of 33, my symptoms had progressed to the place that I was having trouble walking even on good days and I was diagnosed with MS In the next year or so after my diagnosis, I met a practitioner who does much of what I do today with my clients, and he helped me unravel what was happening in my body I slowly began to recover It took 2 5 years for my last symptom to disappear.
18 / WOMEN THRIVE HEALTH
Q. Everyone has a story behind the beginning of their business. Why did you start your business?
My story is why I do this work I know that a diagnosis of an autoimmune or chronic illness doesn’t need to be a death sentence Our bodies can recover! I want to shout it from the rooftops! It is our innate right to be wildly well! However, often with a diagnosis, comes the fear fostered by the unknown and from our medical encounters, others in our life and research on the computer. Nowhere is there a word spoken or written that our bodies CAN recover. We CAN know what is causing this ‘dis-ease’ and we CAN effectively address it.
Q. What do you think is the biggest challenge female entrepreneurs face today?
Q. I'm sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I had to trust my body first. Then go back to school with me being the oldest student in class! Thankfully, life experience helps. I began my practice at an age when most practitioners were well into practicing for 10 plus years. I am pushing against the tide of ‘medical assumption’ that autoimmune diseases can only be managed (with drugs that in the long run are worse than the disease they are meant to address) That we can’t know what is causing them Thankfully, there are a host of other practitioners and amazing individuals who are speaking about this now, raising awareness that this doesn’t have to be our expectation That each of us has the innate, built-in ability to be vibrantly well It is our right!
“Together we unravel what is causing this unwellness for them and formulate a tiered approach to their recovery.”
Q. How are you making an impact with your business or project?
I am a voice of hope to change the narrative around autoimmune conditions. A voice of hope, that recovery and full wellness IS possible! I work with clients daily, equipping them with the answers to “why am I sick?” and “how do I get better?”. Walking with them as they navigate very specific protocols custom created for their unique bodies. We are amazing. Our bodies are amazing.
In the medical community, I am directly challenging the status quo What I do doesn’t make any money for pharmaceutical companies Helping people fully recover so they don’t need meds My business model is perhaps terrible My goal is that my people become well and self-sufficient in that wellness, with a full toolkit of knowledge that will sustain them in the years ahead I am only a message away to help when they get stuck, but I want them to be fully equipped to be fully well
Q. Let's talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you?
I specialize in helping people who are experiencing symptoms such as fatigue, joint pain and swelling, skin problems, abdominal pain or digestive issues, recurring fever, and don’t have a diagnosis, or have been diagnosed with an autoimmune or chronic illness. Together, we unravel what is causing this unwellness for them and formulate a tiered approach to their recovery that includes addressing the body, mind and spirit of each individual. Their personal practitioner then walks beside them as they recover, readjusting protocol, coaching, mentoring them as they walk their path to wellness. Recovery can feel lonely, daunting, breaking through family beliefs, personal beliefs, working through trauma responses…you name it. As the body begins to recover, we have times when our body finally feels strong enough that it will bring up things that we have ‘stuffed away’ for years so that we could get by but now the body invites us to have another look and resolve them It is truly a recovery journey on all levels Our team and I have personally walked this road Not only do we serve from our extensive clinical experience, but from our personal experience as well This is our life’s work >>
WOMEN THRIVE / 19
Q. If you saw a woman struggling in business, what advice would you share with them?
Often when we are on the ‘struggle bus’, it is hard to pull back for a moment and take an inventory of what is out of alignment But that is exactly what will help to shut out the noise of the struggle and concentrate our focus on what needs to be shifted Allow yourself to go back to your basics What is your purpose with this business? What problem are you solving? Who are you serving? What is your end goal? Then work through your processes, team, delivery methods, marketing, everything in your business. How does it align with your basic primus? What needs to shift to be more in alignment? What are the first steps you can make to become more aligned?
“When we are on the struggle bus, it is hard to pull back for a moment and take an inventory of what is out of alignment.”
Q. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?
I would love to be the voice of hope that people hear in their heads and hearts that autoimmune disease is NOT a death sentence, rather an invitation to a full and vibrant life I would love to be a voice that changes the narrative around diagnosis It is just a name for a group of symptoms, it is not you, it is not me, it is merely a description WE can change this for ourselves When the symptoms are solved, we get to choose if we continue to be connected to that diagnosis
Q. What's next for you?
We have just renamed and rebranded our practice to go worldwide Our goal, to be the voice of hope in the first page, space 3, of each search engine, using the top 5 autoimmune diagnosis names, top 5 autoimmune symptoms, and top 2 researched questions We want to be the voice that says, “I hear you, I see you, you just got this scary diagnosis I love you I feel you Here is another way - a way to truly be well that YOU can choose It is fully within your power Here is how to achieve it This vision will take a whole bunch of us I invite you to join me in this mission ”

Overcoming Dis-Ease
A Journey of Faith
by Judi Moreo
Iwas numb! I couldn’t think! I didn’t know what to say or what to ask. It was the most alone moment of my life. Cancer! Me? Not me. We don’t have cancer in my family. We have heart attacks and strokes! But then she didn’t say we. She said “You” - meaning ME.
And it began… Mammogram to mammogram, to biopsy to ultrasound-guided biopsy, to surgery – both breasts From diagnosis to surgery was so quick I didn’t have time to think about what I was doing or even feel my emotions I just did it
At the follow-up appointment with the surgeon, the week after the surgery, she explained I would need another surgery for the removal of a sentinel lymph node to see if there was any cancer in my blood Followed by a round of radiation treatments and chemotherapy I scheduled the surgery for the next month
“From diagnosis to surgery was so quick I didn’t have time to think about what I was doing or even feel my emotions.”
During that month, I started my research, visiting clinic after clinic, spas, and raw food facilities throughout the Southwest, Texas, and Georgia. I checked out clinics in Mexico, Africa, and Europe. My oncologist told me that if I didn’t do the radiation and chemo, I should go home and get my affairs in order, as I’d probably only live a few more months. There was cancer in my blood. One naturopath told me to do the radiation and chemo, and then he would help me regain my health. They all seemed so sure of themselves, but the voice in my head kept screaming NO! The more they insisted, the louder the voice became.
I read books and watched movies and documentaries about cancer, treatment, nutrition, diet, and natural healing. I watched Louise Hay’s movie You Can Heal Your Life so many times that I could quote it almost word-for-word. The information resonated with my heart

FAITH
A friend of mine told me to check out the Cedar Natural Health Center in Cedar City, Utah, and when I went there and met Dr Holcomb, he said, “Come in Let’s see if we can get you well ” All the other doctors had said, “Let’s talk about treatment ” So, of course, getting well sounded like the best option I decided to go to him for treatment even though it meant I would have to drive to Cedar City from Las Vegas 3 hours, 3 times a week, sit with a vitamin, mineral, and trace element drip in my arm for three hours, and then drive 3 hours home. It would mean I could unschedule that subsequent surgery.
Since the beginning, I had been asking God daily to guide me in making the right decision. I still had family to support, and I couldn’t afford to be sick. On the way home from the first visit with Dr. Holcomb, I stopped at a restroom, and while there, I again asked God to help me make my decision. While praying, I looked up and saw a beautiful poster that said, “The Power that made the body heals the body; there is no other way.” An incredible peace came over me. I had my answer.
Once I made my choice, I could regain control of my life and take responsibility for building my immune system That was the most critical decision I had ever made or would ever make I knew I had to be committed
Dr Holcomb explained that “illness has a cause We can remedy the illness if we find and correct the cause” I believe removing the tumors and doing everything possible to nurture my immune system allowed my body to heal itself To me, it seems a much better alternative than a program of toxic, invasive, and experimental cancer treatments

“I do not fully understand why this happened to me, but I know for absolute positive that God guided me through it.”
Dr. Holcomb made it clear to me that I had to commit to getting well and taking responsibility for the state of my emotions, my physical self, and my spiritual well-being. He said, “Your doctor can explain treatment options, recommend what he believes is best, and treat you once you have decided, but you are the only one who should decide what treatment is right for you. And let me remind you that you are the one who will live with the consequences of the decision.”
I had to change my lifestyle. No more working 18 to 20 hours per day No more junk food I had to eat foods that nourished my body, and the ones he recommended were not what I had learned about on that food pyramid chart in school I had to learn about vitamins and minerals Exercise and take a nap in the afternoons I was sent for colonics, massage, dry brushing, dance lessons, and art lessons I understood everything except the art lessons His explanation: “I want you to learn to sit still and be quiet for 3 hours at a time It will be like meditation ” I did everything I was told
Seven and a half months later, my oncologist asked me what I had been doing as my body was cancer-free I told him about Dr Holcomb, and he agreed I had made the right decision for me
I do not fully understand why this happened to me, but I know for absolute positive that God guided me through it We make choices every moment of every day When we choose to trust God, take part in creating our destiny, show gratitude for our progress, and stay focused forward, we will see miracles at every turn. Then and only then do we move toward a future filled with unlimited possibilities. Faith is the confident assurance that something we believe is true or something we desire will happen.
Affirm each day, “I believe God has a purpose for my life, and I intend to live a long, healthy, happy life to fulfill that purpose.” Then, take the action required to make that happen. Keep your thoughts positive, make better choices, and remember, “The Power that made the body heals the body. There is no other way.”

Diverse women in business should identify goals, seek mentors, and always remain authentic
How I’ve Leveled Up My Career as a Woman of Color and How You Can Too
by Reetu Gupta
I’ve been in the hospitality industry for as long as I can remember While I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in this field, I also quickly realized that it wasn’t always a welcoming place for leaders who look like me
As a young South-Asian woman, I’ve often had to fight to be taken seriously. Like many women in business, I’ve been talked over in meetings, told to dress differently, and have witnessed men be promoted ahead of more talented peers. These issues are particularly striking in the hospitality industry, where women make up a majority of the workforce, but lack representation in leadership roles. In the U.S. and Canada, this gender wage gap is widest for women of color.
A lot has changed in my lifetime, and I firmly believe that the face of business is transforming. Female founders and entrepreneurs are redefining leadership on a local and global level. Groups like Black Women of Hospitality and the Women’s Hospitality Initiative are bolstering this evolution, through providing opportunities, mentorship, and peer-support But, we still have a long way to go, and women starting careers today may face barriers Here’s what I wish I’d known when I was younger:
CAREER 24 / WOMEN THRIVE
1. Don’t compromise your authenticity
As Marketing Director and then CEO, I’ve helped my family launch 30 hotels, and I’ve infused each space with my personal style and my values I’ve come to see my sense of taste and style as an asset, but it wasn’t always this way
When I was about 20 years old and working in different hotels, I had a manager who urged me to alter my appearance. She told me not to wear my hair naturally curly, that my earrings were too large, and that I needed to dress in blazers and suits. I thanked her for her advice but continued to wear what I wanted, because it felt inauthentic to present differently. I now believe that decision helped me stand out, and be seen as an expert in fashion and design.
2. Ask for help, even when it’s scary
As a young person, I spent my summers shadowing hospitality employees in every role. Much of that work was menial, but it’s often the most unglamorous tasks that teach you the most critical skills. The most important skill I gained, however, was learning to ask for help
I was never given an instruction manual, which meant I had to get comfortable reaching out to my peers and managers Learning to ask for help can help us avoid making harmful errors, and it also fosters important social connections helping us build a network of peers and mentors
3. Suggest new ideas, even if it means disrupting business as usual
When I first started, there wasn’t a lot of diversity in hotel management or executive leadership I wanted that to change As soon as I became CEO, I spearheaded an initiative to overhaul our company’s hiring practices to ensure they were merit based In 2020, I also penned a public letter and recommendations for the hospitality community, calling for action to combat discrimination and bias Planning and promoting these efforts wasn’t always easy. Sometimes, when you make big moves, people will push back. These moments can be uncomfortable, but they’re essential stepping stones to building more equitable spaces.
“I thanked her for her advice but continued to wear what I wanted, because it felt inauthentic to present differently.”
WOMEN THRIVE / 25
4. Be open to connecting with mentors offline
When seeking out mentors, consider approaching people for in-person conversations or phone calls even if you’re only asking for five to ten minutes of their time As someone who relies heavily on email, texting, and LinkedIn, I know how easy it can be to relegate all professional interactions to these platforms However, there’s truly nothing like getting to have a conversation with someone whose career you admire and respect. You’ll have their full attention, and discussions about sensitive topics may be easier.
When seeking a mentor, remember that they don’t have to share all the same identities as you. As long as they understand your industry, the barriers you’re up against, and have your best interests at heart, they’ll be able to provide you with helpful advice.
“There’s truly nothing like getting to have a conversation with someone whose career you admire and respect.”
5. Don’t second-guess yourself in challenging situations
Women and women of color are likely to experience being talked over in meetings I know I have My number one piece of advice here is trust your intuition, if you’re wondering whether you’re experiencing discrimination My next piece of advice is to identify your goals: What do you need or hope to get out of the situation? It’s unlikely you’re going to permanently change the behaviors of an entire group of people, but if your priority is to have your voice heard, that may still be possible
I’ve often sat patiently, waiting for a lull in conversation. While it can be frustrating to wait, I’ve found that if I get the opportunity to speak, my ideas often move forward because of their value.
The world is changing, and we no longer need to model ourselves after the people who came before us. After all, the next generation of leaders will need role models and examples to look up to. Now is the time to forge that path.
“We no longer need to model ourselves after the people who came before us.”

Release Dis-Ease & Flow Into Ease
by Dawn Gaden
“I AM SO HAPPY AND GRATEFUL NOW THAT I LET EVERYTHING IN MY LIFE FLOW FREE AND EASY, AND I ONLY FOCUS ON WHAT SERVES MY HIGHEST AND BEST GOOD.”
This affirmation was given to me by Cory Proctor and she also has it listed in the book My Father Knows The Secret, written by her husband Brian Proctor.
Ease and flow can often be stopped in its tracks by struggle and frustration. It even seems as if struggle, dis-ease and negativity is so much easier than peace and ease. Why is that you might wonder. I am often asked by my clients when they begin working with me, “Why is the bad stuff easier to believe?”
I pondered this question for years and I searched for answers, sometimes left empty handed, and other times even more confused. With 24 years of working with hundreds of clients as a Licensed Counselor, Mindset Expert, and Self Image Coach, participating in masterminds, experiencing my own personal healing journey, I have discovered what seems to be the answer to this mind-boggling question You see, no one consciously chooses dis-ease, but more often people suffer it in negative thoughts, depressed emotions and in achy, pain-stricken bodies - without any hope for something better
MINDSET 28 / WOMEN THRIVE
Of It!
Why would anyone tolerate pain over ease, sadness over joy? I have found that the answer lies in the brain We are bombarded with negativity all day long - social media, water cooler gossip, toxic relationships, war and violent movies, negative news, and so on The fight/flight mechanism (also known as the stress response) in the brain that detects danger is constantly on overdrive This stress response part of the brain does not know the difference between a real threat versus an imagined threat. I often hear people comment, “I love those drama shows, they don’t affect me.” Well, the brain is in fact affected and responds to all the input you expose yourself to. ALL THE INPUT.
And I haven’t even touched on the internal dialogue of negative thoughts that the mind can produce – we’ll get to that! Understanding this fight/flight response is critical in creating the change that you desire. If you want to feel ease, then you need to create ease - in your environment, relationships, and all the input into your brain. When choosing to make this shift, being in a state of absolute awareness, you can begin to really notice what creates a state of dis-ease for you, and what feels good. Yes it’s that simple - choose how you want to feel Wait a minute! I know, hold on! You’re thinking, “no way, Dawn, I’ve tried this thinking positive stuff and it doesn’t work!” Ok, stay with me, there’s more This is when it gets really good!
YOU CHOOSE HOW YOU WANT TO CREATE YOUR LIFE!
This is good news You get to be the creator of your reality You are no longer sleepwalking through life, on autopilot, letting everything outside of yourself dictate how you want to feel, think and live This is your opportunity to claim your power!
If you decide (yes, it is your choice) to consciously live your amazing life with ease and flow, you now need to address the mind The mind is not detected under a microscope like the brain It is unseeable, but runs the entire operation of our being Here’s the trippy part - are you ready?! You get to decide the stories in the mindthoughts you tell yourself and the emotions that you CHOOSE to feel
There seems to be this common theme among humans of “I am not enough” We have been taught this message from our upbringing, society, culture, and it gets imprinted in the mind. It is truly what causes dis-ease at the core of each and every one of us. Now, let's shake things up! Let’s change the story, by one little 3-letter word: NOT. Remove it from the sentence and repeat: “I AM enough.”
Aahhhh! Do you feel that? Feel that shift from dis-connect and dis-ease to ease, joy, acceptance! Yes, it’s a process to re-write your story. It’s a journey of a lifetime! It’s the work that I do with my clients that creates lasting positive change. Let's get you started! Are you ready for the one simple step to begin the shift from dis-ease to ease and joy?
Every day, for 90 days, write these words. It takes about 30 seconds to write, feel the words, put that smile on your face and begin to choose a new thought, a new feeling today, which will guide your actions, one day at a time
Here is your new affirmation to write daily: “I am so happy and grateful now that I let everything in my life flow free and easy and I only focus on what serves my highest and best good ”
Place your hands on your heart, take 3 deep breaths and mentally affirm your new words

Empowered Healing Reclaiming Life with Wondrous New Perspectives
by Karyn Del Mol
Change can be a dirty word for many, and fighting change may make us feel stuck and miserable When we resist change, we risk feeling trapped on a never-ending hamster wheel, making no progress, and this can often be the cause of disease in the body Life frequently presents challenges that force us to shake things up; for some, that challenge might be the daunting word - cancer
Most mornings, I wonder if life will ever return to ‘normal’ Despite going through daily life and engaging in physiotherapy, I sometimes want to hide under the covers and avoid facing the day Even with my background in personal development, I still encounter moments of frustration and doubt, but I know that consistency in small daily actions is vital to seeing progress.
It all began when I discovered a lump in my throat. Initially dismissing it as a muscle strain from the gym, I eventually received the devastating diagnosis - cancer.
The news felt like the doctor had hit me from behind with a cricket bat. Cancer. OMG. It can't be! Like many women, my immediate reaction was to enter fix-it mode. Biopsies, consultations with surgeons, and before I knew it, I was booked in for surgery within two months.
I naively believed that the surgery would the cancer, a few inconsequential neck m and part of the collarbone; and after six radiation, I would return to normal withi months Life would resume as usual
Fast forward nearly three years, and I grappling with mobility issues from the s it turns out, those ‘inconsequential’ neck are essential for holding up one's head W have thought?
Cancer changes lives It forces us to r life and decide whether to stay on the sa or make changes.
Throughout my cancer journey, I've b constantly adapting and making improve However, progress often feels frustrating like being stuck on that hamster wheel.
We've all heard the tale of the rabbit turtle, where steady progress triumphs o I've come to realize that slow, consistent leads to success. I can't afford to nap like must keep strengthening my body despi challenges.
When life feels stagnant, stepping in direction can be the key to breaking free hamster wheel.
HEALING 30 / WOMEN THRIVE
Every day, I diligently engage in physiotherapy, gradually increasing the intensity under the guidance of my physiotherapist Furthermore, in addition to my physiotherapy routine, I have also progressed to incorporating other forms of rehabilitation I've returned to the gym, albeit cautiously, and have introduced alternative therapies, such as scar massage, to address the radiation damage With 22 lymph nodes removed, lymphatic massage has become an essential part of my healing journey. Though the progress may seem slow, these small steps hold immense power. Tiny changes are more accessible to incorporate into our lives and guarantee forward motion.
“ I consciously sought support from others trained in the same modalities as myself. Their guidance and encouragement helped me stay on track.”
But how does one begin taking these small steps? Don’t underestimate the power of the mind Mindset work plays a significant role in the recovery process If our mindset feels stuck in a state of self-pity or negativity, it can hinder our progress and lead to procrastination Amidst the physical rehabilitation, mindset work is just as crucial as that physical aspect Addressing negative limiting beliefs that would creep into my mind, such as doubts about my survival, fighting the pain or fears of worsening radiation burns, proved to be pivotal Reframing and refusing to buy into these beliefs, I healed faster and embraced a more positive outlook I consciously sought support from others trained in the same modalities as myself Their guidance and encouragement helped me stay on track, releasing limiting beliefs and empowering me to reclaim my life.
Starting can be daunting but begins with a burning desire to change. In my case, I desire to reclaim my life and enjoy the simple pleasures I once took for granted. I've made it an integral part of my daily schedule to ensure I stick to my physical routines and continuously look at my mindset. >>
WOMEN THRIVE / 31
I've also established triggers - cues within my daily habits that prompt me to act Integrating change into my routine has become second nature, whether doing a few physio exercises before getting out of bed or utilizing the time while waiting for the kettle to boil
Additionally, rewarding myself serves as positive reinforcement, reminding me of the benefits of my efforts After a challenging physical session, I treat myself to a relaxing massage, reinforcing that change brings rewards.
Furthermore, understanding my motives provides clarity and purpose. I envision a future where I can attend outings without neck pain and not fear driving the car long distances.
Tracking my progress keeps me motivated. It reminds me of how far I've come and encourages me to keep pushing forward, no matter how challenging.
These small steps may seem insignificant, but collectively, they alleviate the mental burden and make it easier to stay committed. Minor, gradual adjustments yield more lasting and impactful results than sudden, dramatic overhauls, which can overwhelm an individual.
“If disease has turned your life upside down, see it as an opportunity to transform it and make change a desirable pursuit.”
If disease has turned your life upside down, see it as an opportunity to transform it and make change a desirable pursuit rather than a daunting challenge
Take the time to identify triggers, set up rewards, and clarify your motives Tracking your progress and choosing to celebrate each milestone along the way is the best recipe for success
The decision to break free from the hamster wheel rests in your hands Seek support and guidance when needed but remember that you ultimately have the responsibility to act
Are you ready to embrace the changes required so you can manifest the life of your dreams?

Are you a thorn or a branch?
by Stephanie Myers
Irecently heard a sermon regarding how we look at ourselves We are spiritual beings having a physical presence on Earth What are we doing with our spiritual selves? How are we connecting to other spiritual beings? These types of questions ran through my mind when thinking about my spiritual connection to others but mainly to myself
Honestly, when I was younger, I never gave much attention at all to being spiritual. All that kind of talk reminded me of ghosts or something of that nature My mind automatically thinks back to the movie Ghost, if some of you can remember I loved the movie but I didn’t want to think any deeper about being a spiritual being Now I realize the importance of getting the most out of every moment I have left breathing in and out I don’t want to look back over my life and think ‘what if’ about anything I wanted to do, wanted to try, and did not go for it Not because it was impossible to attain but because I was too afraid to try Too fearful of stretching out and becoming ‘all that I can be’ Can you relate to being too scared to even start a new thing? You dismiss in your mind the concept of reaching for something better and list all the roadblocks that could potentially stand in your way Have you ever discouraged yourself?
This is where spirituality comes into play You are a spiritual being even if you do not know it yet The discouragement that speaks and tries to tell you that ‘you're not good enough...You don’t have what it takes to succeed, to overcome, blah blah blah’. You know the words that you speak over yourself. Our spirituality can be used for a positive influence or a negative one.
Learn to listen to the positive aspects of your spirituality and believe that victory is within reach even for you! Life hands each of us so many situations, circumstances, and challenges that must be dealt with. Life can be so hard that it can seem impossible for us to move forward with a positive attitude. Let’s face it though, there are certain times (people, places, things) that try our spirit and make us feel as if we can’t move positively. Remember, spirits can help us or they can hurt us Which spirit are you listening to and believing?
34 / WOMEN THRIVE MINDSET
The Thorn
“A thorn is a branch that tried to be but just could not get there. The thorn does not have the strength to stretch out.” This is what was mentioned in the sermon. Why did this statement affect me the way it did? I tried to have my moment in life but refused to stretch out and do what it took to reach my potential. I never allowed myself to become fully developed because I always talked myself out of believing that what seemed impossible could be achieved.
Trauma, combined with my own limiting beliefs about myself, caused me to remain a very short branch (a thorn) instead of reaching out and being a branch that is useful to not only myself but to others. Can anyone relate to allowing your trauma or circumstances to stop you from reaching your full potential? I was my own worst enemy because I realized being too hard on myself nearly cost me my dreams It was me who kept self-sabotaging those dreams and limiting my capabilities I was choosing to listen to my toxic spirit and barely gave notice to the faint whisper that tried to interject, “You can do this ” What spirit are you listening to?
The Branch
I changed my attitude regarding my life. I became more thankful for the little things and refused to wait for something big to happen before being grateful for my life. That baby step opened up a bigger door that transitioned me from seeing myself as someone with little to no skills to someone who can be a help, i.e. be a blessing to someone else. It takes time to trust that you can move from being a short thorn to transforming into a long and sturdy branch. My spirit has learned to forgive those who harmed me and, more importantly, I have learned to forgive myself. That is when you know you are ready to serve others.
The transition from what you thought back then to the way you think about yourself today is monumental Are you ready for it? By opening up my spirit and understanding that I am more than negative thoughts and beliefs, by leaning into gratitude and fighting off those same negative thoughts and influences that tried to hold me back, my world has opened up and introduced me to an array of beautiful people who believe they can make a difference too
All our branches together make up a big beautiful tree that reflects strength and glory This morning I woke up and birds were chirping in the tree next to my window It was a lovely sound to hear and reminded me of being a child and climbing the tree at my grandmother’s house It was a lovely memory to reach back and reflect on Get all you can from the moments that you have When my moment is over in life, I do not want to remain a thorn I know that I am a branch and this is my moment. Today, I live. Are you ready to start living too or are you going to remain a thorn knowing you are truly a branch? Stretch out and believe!

Owning Our Financial Future to Be Financially
Fabulous
by Pauline Kirk
In our quest for financial security, it is crucial for women to recognise that relying solely on others is not a sustainable plan From an early age, society moulds women into caregiving roles, fostering subconscious beliefs that we will be taken care of However, it is essential for us to break free from these limiting beliefs and take ownership of our financial independence
The UBS Own Your Worth report finds that the majority of married women globally let their spouses make financial decisions Reasons include long-standing “historical and social precedents to family, gender roles and confidence levels,” such as following parental examples in terms of gender roles and financial control.
“When 58% of women around the world – including Millennials – defer to men on important financial decisions, we need to ask why,” said Paula Polito, Global Client Strategy Officer and Group Managing Director, UBS Wealth Management. Attitudes to wealth management and gender vary across markets and cultures. In the BCG report Managing the Next Decade of Women’s Wealth, no Middle Eastern women respondents reported being involved in financial decisions, while in Asia most female respondents said they take the lead in their households.
As a consequence of long-standing attitudes towards gender roles, women have more caregiving duties and continue to be viewed as the primary caregivers in families However, this is not reflected in governmental and workplace policies

Why does it really matter?
The significance of women owning their financial independence cannot be overstated When us women have our own financial independence, we gain a sense of autonomy and freedom, enabling us to pursue equal opportunities in various aspects of life; from career choices, to starting businesses, investing in education and taking calculated risks without being limited by financial constraints. It eliminates the need to depend on others for financial stability, therefore creating financial equality and the ability to live our best lives.
“Women who are financially independent are better equipped to handle unexpected life events such as job loss, illness or divorce so they can live financiallyfabulous lives.”
Women who are financially independent are better equipped to handle unexpected life events such as job loss, illness or divorce so they can live financially fabulous lives. They have the resources and flexibility to navigate these challenges and maintain stability in their lives. It also sends a powerful message that women are capable of managing their own finances, making sound investment decisions and achieving economic success This shift paves the way for societal change and promotes gender equality By witnessing women who are financially independent, young girls and women are inspired to believe in their own capabilities and strive for financial empowerment, ultimately making generational change >>

What can we do to change it?
Challenging Societal Conditioning:
From childhood, girls are often exposed to toys, books and movies that reinforce traditional caregiving roles. By acknowledging these influences, women can consciously challenge societal conditioning. It is important to question and redefine the notion that our financial security depends solely on others. We must remind ourselves that we have the innate ability to create our own wealth and secure our futures.
Shifting Money Narratives and Beliefs:
It is imperative to examine these narratives and identify any limiting beliefs related to self-worth and financial independence These beliefs are shaped by our childhood environment and personal experiences By reframing our mindset, we can replace disempowering beliefs with empowering ones Enabling women to emphasise the idea that we are capable, deserving and fully equipped to manage our own financial affairs
Cultivating Healthy Financial Habits:
We can start by setting clear financial goals and creating a ‘spending plan’ that aligns with our aspirations Let us develop the habit of regularly tracking expenses, saving a portion of our income each month and investing wisely By cultivating these habits, we gain a sense of control over our finances, ensuring a brighter financial future The January 2024 issue of Women Thrive highlighted the importance of financial habits and financial wellness
Fabulous
Taking Control of Personal Finances:
This journey begins with education and understanding Let us take the initiative to educate ourselves about personal finance, investing and mindful spending and saving By gaining knowledge and seeking advice when needed, we empower ourselves to make informed financial decisions

Building Self-Worth and Confidence:
Our sense of self-worth significantly impacts our financial choices. It is crucial to recognize and embrace our inherent value beyond societal roles. By prioritizing self-care, setting boundaries and nurturing our passions, we enhance our selfworth. As our confidence grows, we become more assertive in negotiating fair financial arrangements and advocating for ourselves in professional and personal settings
As women, it is vital to break free from the belief that someone else will take care of our financial well-being We must take charge of our financial means and actively work towards our own security and independence By challenging societal conditioning, shifting our money narratives, taking control of our personal finances, cultivating healthy habits and nurturing our self-worth, we empower ourselves to create a financially fabulous future
Financial empowerment is a journey and by taking these steps, we open doors to new opportunities and pave the way to create an extraordinary and meaningful financially fabulous quality of life

In our fast-paced world, the prevalence of ‘dis-ease’ the lack of ease or balance within our bodies and minds signals a critical alert. This term captures the essence of a state where stress, anxiety, and daily pressures disrupt our internal equilibrium, leading to a cascade of health issues. Amidst various therapeutic practices, 9D Breathwork emerges as a beacon of ancient wisdom redefined for modern healing.
“Research shows that authentic self-expressiononline is linked to a greater sense of wellbeing.”
Understanding Dis-Ease through My Story: A Deeper Dive
My journey from dis-ease is a testament to resilience amid adversity, beginning with a childhood marked by abuse, bullying, and violence experiences so normalised in my life, I didn't recognise them as abnormal until their consequences surfaced in adulthood. Adulthood itself brought significant challenges: sexual abuse, divorce, bankruptcy, a failed business, and the devastating loss of my 4-year-old son Cameron to cancer, each compounding my early traumas. Coming out as gay added another layer of complexity, requiring a deep courage to embrace my true identity in the face of societal judgments and internal conflicts.
Parallel to these personal struggles was my 28year career as a police officer, which kept me in a constant ‘fight or flight’ state, exacerbating my sense of dis-ease. It was during this time that my accumulated traumas manifested as stomach and digestion issues, symptoms so intense they often mimicked a heart attack Despite countless medical interventions, the root cause my unresolved trauma remained unaddressed, casting a shadow over my life and highlighting the intertwined nature of my emotional, psychological, and physical struggles

Taking Responsibility for Healing
It was only when I faced the totality of my experiences acknowledging how they had caused a profound state of dis-ease that I began to take responsibility for my own health and well-being
This pivotal moment led me to radically alter what I put into my body, mind, environment, and energy I sought out practices that promised healing and balance, but it was the discovery of 9D Breathwork that marked the beginning of true transformation.
“Breathwork operates on the principle that controlled breathing can significantly alter our physiological and psychological states.”
Healing Through 9D Breathwork
9D Breathwork, with its multidimensional approach to healing, addressed the dis-ease at its very root
This practice integrates ancient breathing techniques with contemporary insights into psychology and physiology, offering a path to realign our physical, emotional, and energetic systems
The practice involves engaging with breath in a conscious, intentional manner, learning to navigate through various breathing exercises tailored to induce specific therapeutic effects From deep diaphragmatic breathing to rapid oxygenation breaths and prolonged exhalation, each technique was designed to stimulate different aspects of my being, offering profound and far-reaching benefits
The Science Behind the Transformation
Breathwork operates on the principle that controlled breathing can significantly alter our physiological and psychological states. For me, altering my breath patterns helped me transition from a chronic state of stress to one of relaxation. This not only alleviated the immediate feelings of stress but also initiated a deeper healing process, improving my immune function and enhancing mental clarity and emotional stability. >>

A New Path to Wellness
The path to healing from dis-ease through a breathwork practice was an intensely personal and transformative journey for me It demanded patience, dedication, and a deep willingness to explore the innermost depths of my being I had adopted a daily breathwork practice a few years ago but it was the moment I embarked on my first 9D Breathwork session that marked a pivotal turning point. I approached this experience with an openness to relinquish control, eager to explore a profound aspect of breathwork that was entirely new to me.
During this initial session, I was immersed in an environment enhanced by a surround sound headset that emitted binaural beats, 432Hz music, hypnosis narratives, vocal coaching, solfeggio frequencies, and subliminal messages. This multi-sensory experience was unlike anything I had encountered before. Throughout the session, I found myself crying, shaking, screaming releasing emotions in a raw and unfiltered manner. It was a powerful release, a cathartic liberation from years of pain and suffering. This session was the first time I truly allowed myself to let go completely, facilitating a profound emotional and physical release
“For the first time ever, I truly understood what it meant to regulate my nervous system effectively. ”
Perhaps the most transformative aspect of my journey was the immediate shift I felt after that initial 9D Breathwork session For the first time ever, I truly understood what it meant to regulate my nervous system effectively The session facilitated the release of all the stored emotions, traumas, and blocks that had imprisoned me for so long. It was a revelation, an awakening to the possibility of living free from the constraints that had once defined my existence.
Addressing and healing disease within the body goes beyond mere symptom management; it involves restoring balance and harmony at the deepest levels of our being. Diseases, whether physical or emotional in nature, often have their roots in unresolved trauma and chronic stress, leading to imbalances that manifest as illness. My journey illuminates the profound efficacy of 9D Breathwork in tackling these root causes, offering a pathway to not just manage but truly heal disease. This practice, by regulating the nervous system and releasing stored trauma, can recalibrate your body's innate healing capabilities I invite you to discover how I can guide you through this transformative process Together, we can journey towards not only alleviating symptoms but achieving a state of wellness where disease is no longer a prevailing narrative Let’s connect and start your journey towards a life characterised by health, balance, and vitality, leaving the shadows of disease behind
