Editor's Note
Welcome to December's Issue of the Women Thrive Magazine It is such a great time of the year to be taking the moment to reflect on all the achievements of the year and putting your ideas together for the year ahead. At Women Thrive we have been busy doing just that, looking at how far we have come in building the amazing platform that we have and setting the intention for the year ahead.
In this month's issue you will find our special feature on healing our money wounds, where we invited our Women Thrive Summit Speakers to contribute something from their own experience about money.
As the world is going through yet another recession (and they happen every few years to make a new reset in the world) money is high on the agenda for many. Especially for women, as historically women weren't always in control of the household finances and oftentimes have shied away from financial planning, to our own detriment that leads to disempowerment until we learn to do better
My intention for the year ahead is that you are empowered financially, that you are empowered in managing your money and investing in yourself and your business with confidence. So you can grow personally and professionally, travel the world and make more impact with your mission than ever before.
Wishing you a wonderful festive season. ❤

Healing Money Healing Money Wounds Wounds
With Our Women Thrive Summit Speakers and Money Experts
Let’s talk about the most common taboo topic - MONEY. It’s the thing that no one wants to talk about but is always at the top of everyone’s mind It’s the thing that makes the world go round, yet at the same time is the most unspoken topic of all. Why is there so much taboo around a topic that is so relevant to all of our livelihoods?
Why is it so hard, especially for women, to get comfortable with talking about, making and feeling worthy of having or spending money? It’s time to heal your money wounds and work towards the financial goals you’ve always wanted.
We’ve invited some of our 2023 Women Thrive Summit speakers and experts in money matters to share their thoughts on how to unlock the money mindset we deserve, and to talk to us more about why we have money wounds and some of their experiences with money taboos.
06 / WOMEN THRIVE SPECIAL FEATURE
Jessica, as a money expert, why do you think there is such a taboo around money?
The moment you have a negative thought about money, is the moment you hit a mindset block To me, this is great news because you are stretching yourself with money into new territory. You are entering a space where you probably haven't been before or haven't been for a long period of time. You have a huge decision when this negativity creeps up on you, you can let it revert you to old ways and habits with money or you can choose new. The issue people run into is what is the new behavior and mindset I should tap into instead of letting the old ways repeat themselves There is tremendous opportunity for you in this decision so let's uncover what your next steps can be when you decide to pick new. By trying something new with your money and mindset you are opening yourself up to more wealth in your life.
Write down all the options you have with your money today Do a brain dump, which will feel very therapeutic in itself. What is the number 1 thing on your list that will yield the most results for you?
Hire a coach, advisor, or mentor In order to elevate your decisions with your finances, it takes having an advocate for yourself and someone who can guide you into finding new opportunities for your wealth or soon to be wealth!
Surround yourself with people who have the wealth you are seeking Most people stay stuck in a certain level of wealth because they are surrounded by people in that same level. The conversations, opportunities, and problems all remain the same so it is no wonder these people never progress. In order to raise your wealth, you first have to raise the quality of your thoughts around money and this involves different conversations
Normalize what it is you want. If you are calling in a million dollar year, you probably have hundreds or thousands of money stories telling you all the reasons you can't have it. But if you normalize a million dollars you begin to tell your subconscious that it is attainable This creates new pathways in your brain that will lead to new opportunities or even old ones you didn't allow yourself to pursue.
No matter what you do or think about money, in order to have more wealth, it will involve taking a risk The more risk, the greater the chance of wealth, but not everyone is comfortable with risk, which is why they find themselves in the same position year after year with their money This is where the negativity keeps you captured Get friendly with risk and you'll find yourself on a new trajectory with your mindset and with your money! >>

Marina, how is money connected to trauma and wounds and how can it manifest in our businesses?
In my experience from working in the Akashic Records, our Money blocks are created from a particular choice we have made (usually in pressured situations or traumatic circumstances) which brings a result that we can be affected by for lifetimes!
For example, you were in business with your brother 11 lifetimes ago and he betrayed you out of a large sum of money which resulted in you losing everything including your family. This would leave a stamp of wounding and trauma in your energetic DNA which could then show up in several ways :
1 - Have you avoided wanting to make large sums of money - in case it was taken from you
2 - Taking risks - in case you lost it
3 - Distrusting others in business - in case they betrayed you
Subconsciously a low level of anxiety or fear would be present and you wouldn't know why. This is why it's key to get to the root cause of your choices and the energetics of them so we can release them and move on!

Michelle, how can women better manage and acquire money and wealth?
I owe my financial confidence to my mother, who was raised by a single mother of 4 in 50s Singapore with no extended family or safety net Understanding money was not a choice; it was a necessity Later she would see friends left helpless after finding themselves suddenly single and without a clue about how money flowed in and out of their family. She was determined that her daughters would never feel that way. She taught me three lessons which became the cornerstone of my views on money
1. Knowledge is power
There is a whole industry built on making finance a mysterious and impenetrable subject. The secret is that is not as complicated as you fear
2 Learn the difference between risk and opportunity
Women often have a more risk-averse approach to acquiring wealth. But the opportunity cost of not making bolder choices can set women back years. There is risk in everything we do in life If you shift your lens towards opportunity rather than risk your choices change
3. Know your value
Knowing your value will mean you have to walk away from situations where your value isn’t recognised. If someone doesn’t want to pay what you are worth then they aren’t your customer

Alex, how can women reprogram their money mindset to earn more and live in abundance?
Money mindset is a program running in your head related to money. There are common money misbeliefs you may recognize:

• I'm not worthy/not good enough
These common beliefs may NOT be the only culprit. You will need help identifying those deeply hidden beliefs blocking financial success. To uncover, allow a coach to listen to your language when talking about money before going inside to get the learnings to transform you to a magnet for money

Lorna,
how
is money
connected
to emotional energy blocks and how can we recognise if we have a block?
As an Energy Expert for High Level Leaders, I often coach and mentor women in business through their money limitations and mindset blocks, so that they can reach their next income level in business.
Money is just an energy, how we feel, what we think and what we believe around money creates an emotion which gets stored in the cells of our body Unhealed trauma/emotional blocks such as money blocks show up in our energy centres (chakras).
Money has the ability to either make us feel safe/secure or it creates fear and lack Each of these emotions has an energetic vibration. Money limitations create a negative/low vibration which if left unhealed, manifests into physical pain/dysfunctions around the lower back/spine area known as the 'root chakra'
Using energy healing, you can eliminate the trapped emotion within your emotional energy field and get to the root cause of where this came from.
Leslie, how can women be more empowered with money?
Most of us aren’t conscious of our money story — or at least most of it. Yet it’s there, running like silent software in the background of our consciousness. It drives decisions, fuels fear, and whispers hypnotic truths we can’t possibly outlogic
Becoming intimate with your money story is courageous, vulnerable work. It means looking at, understanding, and honoring all of it, the traumas, triumphs, pain and joy. In letting go of those unwanted toxic repeating money patterns, you can have peace of mind to move forward with confidence and faith in your ability to build a healthy relationship with money.
You can create a new future based on your consciousness not your circumstances breaking generational patterns that may get in the way You have the power to choose and write new chapters in your money story As you build more wealth, abundance and invest in what matters, you can make a bigger impact and influence in this world. When women thrive financially everyone enjoys a better quality of life.

Tiffany, tell us more about the soul of money.
If I were the Soul of Money I would say “BLESS YES” to what feeds makes me feel alive I would jump, dance, laugh, and sing, as I am living the life of my dreams; flowing freely, in full expression of my power and pleasure.
If I were the Soul of Money I would fearlessly lead with my heart open wide, impact-driven in every abundantly blessed way I would trust and celebrate the constant creations of magic and miracles, and Know I Am that.
You’d never hear me say “I can’t”, because I’d deeply believe I could. I’d act on the guidance from my intuition and ancestors, and know the power of my thoughts, feelings, and actions. I’d know my successes and opportunities are endless, because I Am Limitless. Remember…
How you feel is the #1 influence manifesting your current and desired realities.
If your reality and desires don’t match, then your feelings need healing
When you heal, you become Whole. Your healing (on all levels) and wholeness (or whole parts) is the source of all your Abundance because it directly impacts how you feel!
Tiffany Marshall Medicine Woman and Fulfillment Expert for Moms
& CEO,
Kawtar, as a leadership coach, what are the differences between women who have money wounds and those who have healed them?
My experience working with women of various cultural and professional backgrounds leads me to believe the #1 difference between women who have money wounds and women who have healed them is that women who have healed money wounds deeply enjoy the experience of having money, not only the experience of making it.
Women are still living with many deeply entrenched beliefs inherited from patriarchy. The women who are successful have healed these wounds They know that self-care and healing are the gateway to meaningful and empowered service So, these women tend to not only do their external work, but also their inner work
These women recognize that being driven by purpose means that money is one of the key drivers of change In other words, money is the lever of power. And in its essence, it is neutral. We are the ones who decide to use it for choices that enhance lives or crush and dehumanize others.
And these women have healed their relationship to both money and power. They have cultivated trust in their power, and embraced the ease, comfort, pleasure, and positive impact that money can be a vessel for in their lives, for their communities and the causes they care about
The last important distinction I see is that women who have healed their money wounds invest in their financial literacy and learn to make money an ally Because our relational patterns with fathers show up in our finances, and teams we surround ourselves with, this healing journey also leads women to surround themselves with individuals who uplift them, teams that support their dreams and projects, and investors who see their vision.

NOVEMBER WAS A MONTH FULL OF ADVENTURES AS WE TOOK A LONG ANTICIPATED TRIP TO PARIS TO HOST OUR FIRST EVER WOMEN IN BUSINESS EVENT FOR PROFESSIONAL AND ENTREPRENEURIAL WOMEN
It has been a goal of ours to host an event in Paris since 2018 as we started to attract more women in our community from various regions of France, but it never felt like the right time Then the pandemic hit and all of our event plans were wiped out But that all changed this year when we truly put Women Thrive Media on the map in Paris. The event was hosted at the gorgeous Melia Hotel Paris La Defense with a stunning skyline of Paris from the 19th floor of the @skylinebarparis where we gathered for a Saturday afternoon filled with drinks, canapes, and networking. Special thanks to the venue management team who made this event a spectacular experience for our guests
During the event we were able to connect with women from all types of backgrounds and professions, including coaching, media, IP law, speakers, and women from fashion, consulting, and other sectors What was particularly interesting is that everyone spoke English and were mainly people who weren’t native to France. The ladies shared their own stories of why and how they ended up in Paris, the purpose behind their work and their goals for 2023 Many said that finding great, inclusive and international events for women in Paris was particularly challenging and that they would love to see more events like this hosted in the future >>

Things to do in Paris:
It goes without saying that shopping in Paris is definitely an experience you must have. There is a reason why this city is so well known for fashion and a touch of sophistication. Explore areas like the Louvre and Tuileries District, Boulevard Haussmann and the Grands Boulevards, The Marais, and Avenue Montaigne and the Champs-Elysees.
Eating in Paris is outstanding! From wonderful French restaurants that serve traditional delicates like foie gras and snails to places like Le Pershing Hall and Au Pied de Cochon which serve the best French onion soup in town. You may also find yourself surrounded by celebrities at not-so-secret luxury restaurants like L'Avenue, Le Fouquet's, and Le Pershing Hall. But, booking a table in advance in Paris for popular places is definitely highly recommended
Places with a view - well Paris definitely has a breathtaking skyline, especially at night We recommend checking out Melia Hotel Skyline Bar Paris, Terrass Hotel Rooftop and Le Perchoir These are among our top three favourites
If you weren’t able to make it to our November Paris event, you’re in luck because we are planning another trip to Paris in April. Join our next Women Thrive business networking event and connect with other like-minded women on this trip. If you are based locally in Paris we are excited to have you join us on Saturday, 22 April 2023. You will have the opportunity to meet other amazing and inspiring women, have a lovely day out, and change your usual environment and make new connections.
Special thanks to the Operations Director, Jorge Robles, and all the staff who were so amazing at helping us organise and host our event at their beautiful venue Melia Paris La Defence Hotel. Their service was truly outstanding and we look forward to being back for our next event in April.

How to Create a Meaningful and Profitable Career in 9 Steps
by Christelle Pillot
HAS THIS HAPPENED TO YOU? YOU’RE DRIVING TO WORK, TRYING TO THINK OF ENERGIZING AND MOTIVATIONAL THOUGHTS TO GET YOU THROUGH THE DAY DESPERATELY PSYCHING YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS THEN YOU STARE AT THE ROAD THINKING ABOUT ALL THE TASKS WAITING FOR YOU
Amoment of panic ensues How boring or stressful could a day be? Then you daydream about your ideal day and work set up and silently you ask the universe when your time will come. If this daily tug of war of thoughts is familiar, it is because it is an ongoing internal dialogue among many career professionals.
You wish to be excited about the tasks ahead, the people you work with, particularly the results you can deliver, knowing you can make a difference given the right opportunity You want to be recognized for your engagement and hard work like we all do and dream of a meaningful career, purposeful mission and driven colleagues, with whom you can show your authentic self without fear
If this sounds like you, then this article was written for you. I will outline nine actionable steps for you to create a sustainable career that is mission driven.
Hi, my name is Christelle Pillot, and spanning over 15 years of personal development, I started my career change from Chemical Engineering to full-time career coaching At the onset, I was depressed, and with my three children younger than five years old, I was constantly tired chasing my sales quota and running a household. It wasn’t easy at first; I know because I was once you.
This was the catalyst to my mission to guide ambitious career professionals to a better version of themselves.
I’ve asked the same questions: How can I escape this job? Where can I start to change the situation? Who could I ask to receive wise advice? Is the effort truly worth it? Am I capable? How can I stand out from the crowded marketplace? Will I still be available for my children and manage everything while looking for a new job?
Well, it took me a while to find the answers to all these questions and to be honest; I felt really alone, unable to find someone who understood me enough to take part in my journey of creating a personalized roadmap. Many business coaches I previously met didn't take me in my entirety and, inadvertently or not, tried to fit me into their framework, and this is where a big source of failure lies
With determination and much research, many coaching and mentoring programs, I overcame all my challenges. I transformed my private life and successfully created my business by finding solutions and tools for each problem. For the last 10 years, I have been using these techniques with my clients, helping them find their dream job and have more fun with their lives. So far, 100% of my clients following my program entirely have started or succeeded in a career change

Are you ready to have more fun and ease
in your life? Are you eager to find your life’s mission? Let's get started!
Raise Your Energy Level
The higher your energy level, the better you will feel The better you feel, the more you can use your talents to produce outstanding results
The higher your energy level, the more you can contribute to your environment. The more you contribute and give outstanding results, the more people see your value and want to work or be with you This is how you create unbelievable and unexpected opportunities.
Tip: To raise your energy level, raise your life satisfaction, practice self-care and look at your wellbeing, simple meditation exercises can help.
Stay Focused
Technology has evolved. It constantly exposes us to distractions like social media and streaming services. Our own house responsibilities demand time Remember, if you don't have focus in your life, it is next to impossible to become successful at anything.
Tip: Stay focused on your top five priorities in life Define them and get ready to delegate. Stop doing things that are not important to you, shed the super girl persona. This principle changed my life. Like what Tony Robbins says: "Energy flows where the attention goes" When you focus on something, it gets bigger, meaning energy and focus come together.
Know Your Unique Selling Point (USP)
3
What attributes distinguish you from the others? What are your talents, strengths, expertise, or valuable experience you can share with others? Be clear about who you are and what you can offer. A unique selling point defines your unique position in the marketplace A strong USP clearly articulates a specific benefit–one that other competitors don’t offer. Find that so you can stand out in the crowd. We're often blind to our own strengths because our strengths are often things we find easy, and we tend to believe that everyone can do the same. And often, our most extreme traits are both our strengths and weaknesses.
Tip: When you see a strength in someone else, point it out to them. They might not be aware of it, and they might reciprocate by pointing out a strength of yours that you're blind to >>
Define Your Ideal Job
Identify a job or service that you love to do. What motivates you, what gives you energy and what you are good at. Don´t create your dream job by looking at what exists but fashion it by designing it all by yourself because that is the best way to find out what really matters to you without limit.
Tip: Start brainstorming Write without filtering your thoughts and look at what comes up. Do that three times with different career options.

4
Test Your Vision with the Market
Using specific business metrics, test your vision or ideal job on the market Is it financially viable? What do you need to reach your goal? Who do you need to be in contact with? How many hours, months will you need? What kind of support could you use? Try to get as much information as possible before starting
Tip: Make a list of all the unknown aspects and try to find solutions to all the points.
Create a Personalized Roadmap
Remember, a goal without a plan is just a wish list Your roadmap is your best tool to be certain it applies to your life and is aligned with your goals. This blueprint will keep you on track, ensuring all the important details are included. This structure will systematize your efforts, providing task efficiency
Tip: Create a five year life goal plan and break it into five parts. Write a detailed roadmap for the coming three to six months, including other scenarios, and constantly update your plan as you go along
Design Your Brand
Whether in business or employment, you need to create an authentic identity Being visible on and offline will definitely help It’s a way for people to know what you’re all about: your ethos, goals and mission in the professional world. We all know highprofile individuals have a personal brand. Recruiters utilize our activities online–LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter or other social media platforms to form an approximation of our personality based on our profile and other internet related activities. Our digital footprint is searchable. And today, employers and recruiters are using the internet to conduct employment background searches to gauge the character and interests of their potential employees. Interestingly, 57% of employers are less likely to interview a candidate they can’t find online.
Tip: Google yourself and see what you find. Make a careful audit of your public persona. Is it aligned with your values and the image you want to project?

Learn Effortless Negotiation
Confidence from undergoing the above process will make you a better advocate for yourself and, therefore, will raise your chance of getting what you want. Negotiation is all about leadership and communication. When you know your worth, you understand the need to get just compensation for your efforts Negotiation can become very pleasant, friendly and smooth if your confidence is competence backed with documented results. According to a survey taken by CV-Library, only 42 6% of women feel comfortable asking for a pay rise, compared to 64.1% of men.
Take Massive Actions
When I say take massive action, I mean it, if you want be in the momentum, have to have the right energy le consider taking action every day, every week. Taking massive action is not about making a courageous act onc It is consistent actions over a long period until you hav achieved your goal
Most of the days, it is little actions, and from time to t it can be scary actions. At any moment, a contradictor voice in your head can pop up, shutting the door at its face We call it Bruno at my home from the Disney m
“Luca” We all have our “Bruno” moments, but if we s firm and decide to move out of our comfort zone, we c have courage and energy to take action no matter wha
Tip: My best tip here is to have an accountability partn I have one. We meet every week and we deep dive int our road maps.

How to Prioritise The Right Activities for Your Business
By Hannah Roper Founder and Director OF The Female Creative
Recently I was listening to The Diary of a. CEO Podcast with Steven Bartlett and he was interviewing Marie Forleo, Entrepreneur, Speaker, Writer, Podcast and TV Host Listen to the episode here
During the recording, Marie said, 'If everything is a priority then nothing is a priority' and she is right! This phrase resonated so much as I see many solopreneurs both in my client base and through networking, that feel overwhelmed with all the tasks they ‘need’ to do to work on their business and work in their business and don’t prioritise the most impactive tasks.
By not prioritising the right activities, it becomes impossible to have a positive impact on your business and your customers There is an element of winging it which increases the overwhelm, leading then to confusion and often inaction.
As a solopreneur, business owner or entrepreneur, you wear so many different hats from marketing to HR to strategic director! If you run your business day to day without a clear plan (let’s bring in that strategy word again!), no wonder it gets too much and the constant noise of the shoulda, woulda, coulda prevents purposeful action!
BUSINESS
22 / WOMEN THRIVE
So how do you go about prioritising the right activities?!
Well, it all starts with your goals! Yep, you have to make sure you have clear business goals so you know which direction you are heading. I like to encourage my clients to separate their goals into 3 categories.
An income goal
A creative goal
An impact goal
These categories allow for business growth, audience connection and building authority and confidence in your niche.
Part of your goal setting is asking yourself why you want to achieve these goals, what advantages do they bring to your business? This takes your goals to a more strategic level and assists with prioritisation! This is not a simple activity and needs attention given to it because if you don’t conduct this activity then it is super easy to take aimless action day by day, hoping it will all work out and then wonder why you are so busy but yet haven’t achieved anything! But the good news is, it is never too late! So even if you haven’t yet defined your business goals, and the intentions behind them, prioritise (see what I did there?!) this activity to drive any subsequent actions!
down into quarterly outcomes to determine the activities you need to do to reach them. From the quarterly outcomes, the next step is to break them down into monthly outcomes, these are the key outcomes you need to achieve each month to get you closer to your goal.
Once you have defined these outcomes, you use them to prioritise your day-to-day actions Whether you plan day by day or week by week, constantly refer back to these outcomes and when looking at taking any action ask yourself, does this help me meet my outcomes or does it fit my wider business goals?
If you still find yourself winging it, before you go to complete a task, go back to your monthly outcomes, and ask yourself the same questions, does this contribute to my monthly outcomes or does it fit my wider business goals? If the answer is yes then go right ahead, if the answer is no, then park this activity and revisit it later when you have capacity
This strategy will support you in taking clear and purposeful action to meet your business goals But remember! Your goals are not the final destination!
Running a business is a journey (cheesy I know!) and the goals are the stops along the way, it may be that you have to change direction as life throws us these low ballers, but using this strategic methodology, you are providing the key points that give you direction, enabling you to prioritise impactful actions and help you move forward in your business one step at a time!

Today’s Multiwoman
By Tina Flores
There are so many articles out there detailing the facets of women at work, women at home, women who are military service connected, and/or women who also must be caregivers to elderly parents However, let's talk about the women who literally do it all
There are a growing number of women who are having to work a full-time job, be the sole parental figure, care for their elderly parents and also upskill themselves for the future All of which is even before society tells us that we also need to have a side hustle on top of it.
Social media has run amuck with the modern “aesthetic” and I think it’s time for today’s multiwoman to take back her power and understand she’s enough now. She’s capable of more, and how she chooses to move forward is her own choice. That inner acceptance is where women can really THRIVE
Are you a modern multiwoman who is looking for a change in your life?
BUSINESS 24 / WOMEN THRIVE
How is that possible and what can the woman who DOES it all do to have less on
her plate?
Build a personal circle as strong as your business network
This is easier said than done. It’s so hard for women to connect with each other, and harder still for this to be done on an organic and intimate level However, doing it alone is asking for burn out We view these ensemble movies of friends who are there for each other but chicken out on allowing ourselves to be vulnerable enough to build this internal team.
Do it Reach out to the lady in the cute shoes at the grocery store, invite the lady who’s buying your favorite wine at Target to sit at Starbucks with you. They may not all say yes, but you will feel better talking to people that are not dependent on you Yes, multiwoman! Go out there and make those connections!
Do work that is fulfilling
There is so much that we cannot control in our lives, and that fact can often make for a very hectic flow of events. When you can do work that is fulfilling, the bad days are slightly more tolerable. The days come with less dread and the remaining areas of our life are not additionally burdened by the need to recover from 8 hours of hell.
Additionally, with so much thankless work (as a mom, wife, daughter) it is such a refreshing change of circumstances when you work for an employer who is thankful to have you on the team. It’s so energizing to be a part of an organization that truly values you. This step may be the hardest step, b difference
Find yourself, be yourself, and love yourself, Multiwoman
So, something I truly hate to read is “schedule some ‘me’ time”. Not because I devalue the notion but because with so many people needing us at any given time it’s hard to distinguish time as being just for “me” What I prefer to advocate for is YOU-ville
Find who you are outside of everything, or as a combination of everything. Do you really love wearing 6-inch heels and satin dresses? If not, DON’T DO IT. It’s simply not you. If you love listening to 90s country music, then DO IT!! Life is both too short and too long to be someone you don’t even like.
This section also includes self-love. Getting your nails done, reading a book, and eating a meal slowly while sitting are all acts of loving yourself and whichever you have the time, budget and energy f or is what you can do and I empower YOU to do it.
If you are a modern multiwoman know you are not alone no matter how lonely you may feel at times. Love and trust yourself enough to expand your network and love yourself. Make choices that are in your best interest despite what others may think because it’s what you think matters. Lastly, never let the weight of your responsibilities drown you. You are awesome!!

TakingBack the Fear of Fear
Dear Woman,
I'm probably one of the few people on planet Earth who don't want to be fearless. In fact, just last week, after publicly sharing my insights around fear from completing my very first IronMan, a coach immediately offered to remove my fear of water through hypnotherapy. I declined. This specific fear still serves a purpose and more importantly, has become a useful tool at my disposal when I need it I stopped fearing fear some years ago What I discovered was that fear, as every emotion we can imagine feeling, serves a powerful purpose. The more we reject our emotions, the more we attempt to get away from them, the greater the impact on humanity What's called for instead, is for us to feel the fear fully, to identify what is at its unique core, from where we can call upon the relevant courage, take the alchemising action, resulting in transformation within ourselves and in the collective

Elle Nagy
South African born Elle Nagy first entered the space of transformational coaching and self-leadership in 2006 and has been selectively working with leaders, innovators, creatives and influencers described as inclusive, humanitarian, disruptive, value focussed and energetic
We've moved past the stage where our choices are only impacting ourselves. As more people awaken to remembering who we truly are and more importantly, that we are all one, the thinner the membrane of 'separation' This means, whatever I'm suppressing or avoiding will show up somewhere for someone else to deal with. That's because we've entered a reset period of collective evolution
Going deeper into the conversation of fear, I've learned that modern tribal unconsciousness is vibrating on the frequency of fear and survival.
We experience it as the shadow archetypes of the Prostitute, the Child, the Victim and the Saboteur. Each one of these are conditioned and becomes a control mechanism wherein free choice is willingly sacrificed for false belonging and protection
The way to break the hold of this shadow unconsciousness, is by feeling the fear, identifying the core soul lesson for evolution, and then by implementing love, truth, honour and trust, moving into the power archetypes of the Lover, the Sovereign, the Warrior and the Magician.
It's simpler than most believe it to be and harder than most are willing to do The challenge lies in the release of old stories and beliefs that's served humanity to get us to where we are, but won't get us to where we say we want to be. If peace, equality, harmony is what's desired, the conversation has to release all mention of war, inequality and discrimination. This brings up fear in so-far as identity, culture, expulsion, rejection and selfidentified purpose, all of which are being brought to the surface for us to heal
For we are truly all connected Not only to one another, but to Earth, to Heaven, to the Universe. We are more than living between heaven and earth. We are Heaven and Earth.

Boss Bitch Vibes: Mastering Your Inner Energies
First of all, you might be questioning what ‘Boss Bitch Vibes’ actually means? In the coaching industry, we hear statements such as ‘Boss Bitch Vibes’ which encourages women to exert their authority by stepping into their masculine energy and leaving their natural feminine flow behind
The Urban Dictionary defines Boss Bitch Vibes as ‘a confident, successful and independent woman who speaks her mind and stands up for what she believes in She keeps it 100% real with everyone, sets boundaries and isn’t afraid to go after what she wants.’
Whilst going after what you want can be perceived as ‘courageous’, it can also be very damaging to our health In order to hit your goals, it requires you to step into your ‘doing’ energy and too much ‘doing’ can cause an imbalance in energies. This imbalance can lead to burnout.
The feminine energy has been associated with being ‘weak’ and more and more women have become disconnected from their natural state of flow by operating in their ‘hyper masculine energy’ and ‘doing’ too much, not giving themselves time to rest
SELFCARE 30 / WOMEN THRIVE
The New Paradigm
For years we have seen the coaching industry operate in a masculine matrix that has kept women trapped in a non-emotional state and causing a disconnect. The masculine energy is perceived by society as strong, and for ambitious women to be approved ‘as good as a man’ they have been encouraged to step into their ‘boss bitch vibes’.
Things are changing! Our entire planet is moving into a natural feminine flow and we are moving away from these masculine traits that have kept many women suffocated and disconnected. Women are starting to awaken and understand that to advance their careers, they cannot hide their true identity or suppress their underlying emotions
The Masculine Vs Feminine Paradigm
Masculine energy is the ‘doing energy’ which we use to get results. However, over the years, it has been encouraged so much within the workplace that we ‘have’ to do more in order to get more. This has led to a society of people disconnected from their feminine energy, by operating in our ‘hyper masculine’
Hyper masculine is when you operate too much in your masculine, this looks like feeling overworked, over analysing, being too logical & pragmatic, feeling burnt-out, constantly overthinking, unable to switch off, overdoing and becoming obsessed and consumed with their day to day careers. All of these behaviours are driven from the belief that you have to ‘do more to get more’. >>

"Ourentireplanetis movingintoanatural feminineflowand movingawayfromthese masculinetraitsthat havekeptmanywomen suffocatedand disconnected."
But like everything, (just like Ying & Yang), we need both energies. Contrary to masculine energy, feminine energy is about flow It is less about rational and logical-minded energy It is more about using your internal guidance and intuition, that comes from the heart. It requires you to connect inwardly and hear the whispers of your own mind.
Mastering Your Energies
To achieve balance and consistently reach success, we must master the duality of masculine and feminine energies. As an Energy Expert, I help women in business realign their energies by eliminating the emotional wounds which are driving their hypermasculine behaviours (overdoing & overworking).
How To Re-align Your Energy?
If you are a woman in business addicted to the ‘hustle’ and ‘grind’ then follow these practical tips, to realign your energy and find your natural flow.
Find Your Inner Connection: Whether that be meditation for just five minutes a day, going for a walk and connecting to nature, or breath work. Find time each day to connect inwards. This gets you out of your logical brain (masculine energy) and centred into your heart (feminine energy).
Be Present: If you are always overthinking and thinking ahead, then you will find it hard to be grateful for the now Make 10 minutes a day to say ‘thank you' for everything around you. This can simply be, day-to-day things such as feeling grateful for your warm cosy bed, your fridge full of food, or for your loving family. Take time to appreciate what you have around you and it’ll bring you into the present moment Find a routine at bedtime that calms your mind - it is hard to sleep with a busy brain. The best technique to slow your brain waves is to listen to hypnosis or theta subliminals
Try these top 3 tips and your energy will start to feel more in alignment and flow!

Do you know what the number one killer of dreams is? Negative self-talk. When we put ourselves down, it becomes challenging to reach our goals Successful entrepreneurs have learned to silence those negative voices in their heads, and you can too! This article will discuss how successful entrepreneurs silence negative self-talk and limiting beliefs We will also discuss the importance of having no regrets and how to achieve them.
How Secret Fears and Negative Talk Start Sabotaging The Efforts Of Building A Successful Business?
Have you ever started working on a project, only to have a little voice in your head criticize everything you do? That voice might say things like "you're not good enough," "this will never work," or "you're going to fail." If so, you're not alone. Negative head chatter is a common problem that can sabotage your efforts at building a successful business
The root of the problem is often childhood trauma. Maybe you were raised in a household where criticism was common or you were told you were "stupid" or "worthless." These messages can stay with us for years, affecting our self-esteem and leading us to believe negative things about ourselves. Adults may still secretly think these things on some level, and these thoughts can come out when trying to achieve something great

Fear
Fear is the most powerful emotion that humans experience. It drives us to act in the face of danger and motivates us to achieve great things However, fear can also be debilitating if it is allowed to take control, particularly when starting as an entrepreneur. The secret fears and negative self-talk accompanying this process can quickly sabotage the best-laid plans One of the most common fears that entrepreneurs face is the fear of failure. Another common fear is the fear of success which seems counterintuitive, driven by a deepseated belief of not being worthy of success or that we will not be able to handle it. These fears can be crippling, and feeling overcome with effort and determination. It reveals itself in several ways, from procrastination and indecision to paralysis by analysis
Negative Self-Talk
Negative self-talk is a destructive force that can prevent us from achieving our goals. Fears and insecurities often drive it, making it difficult to silence However, it is essential to recognize negative self-talk for what it is and to learn how to quiet it. One of the well-known ways to do this is to reframe your thoughts. For example, if you are thinking, "I can't do this," try to replace it with, "I can do this " It may be just a tiny change, but it can make the most significant difference in your mindset.
Another way to silence negative self-talk is to drown it out with positive affirmations. It is vital to find affirmations that resonate with you and to say them aloud, preferably in the mirror, daily. These can be anything from "I am capable" to "I am worthy."
This is Not Reality
If you feel plagued by negative head chatter, it's essential to recognize that these thoughts are not reality. They are simply the product of low self-esteem and past hurts Once you acknowledge that, you can start countering negativity with positive affirmations and selftalk. Remind yourself that you are capable, competent, and deserving of success Silence the inner critic and listen to the voices that will lead you to success.
First, you must recognize your negative head chatter, and the other problem with just countering positive affirmations is that you must honestly believe them Freedom from the negative head talk is often easier to realize with assistance.
I work with clients one-on-one in a program where I help them identify all those hidden sabotaging behaviours, so they can confidently move forward towards their goals. You don’t get what you wish for You get what you work for. Wishing for a healthy body won’t get it for you. You have to work at eating healthy and moving. If you say “I never stick to diets” you won’t, intention’s been set Mindset work is necessary

Hard work is what ultimately gets results. Women are good at it, often making heart wrenching sacrifices in the process When the pandemic hit in 2020 many women found their businesses would likely close as a result. Women gave more time than men to unpaid care, often receiving far less public support than men in business and for many it was a struggle to juggle family responsibilities, schooling and remote working. It begs the question why, when women entrepreneurs are often the backbone of economies around the world, the silent support if you will
Burnout
How to Beat and Overcome It
Women reported stress and anxiety levels increased during the pandemic, health habits changed regarding food choices and exercise, and alcohol intake rose I personally knew a number of women who missed doctor’s appointments for fear of being seen as “dramatic” and decided to just get on with it as best they could. We supported each other with texts and zoom calls yet I myself often felt I wasn’t doing enough for them
Women are incredibly good at pretending to be “fine” or “ok” when they’re not. Maybe you can relate We often suppress what we’re dealing with, cover it up, carry on, leading to all sorts of physical and mental issues. We have a tendency to help and support others even when facing challenging situations ourselves. Instead of putting our oxygen mask on first we make sure everyone else has theirs

"Women are nearly twice as likely as men to develop an anxiety disorder."
The Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) says that “from puberty to age 50, women are nearly twice as likely as men to develop an anxiety disorder.” Stress and anxiety are often the precursors to burnout. In fact, the physical signs of burnout are similar to stress and anxiety
I had one too many burnouts before I finally realised that I nearly didn’t survive Fatigue? I’d work through it Pain? I’d move through it. Self-doubt? Buried myself in it. Emotional numbness? Couldn’t feel anything. Anxiety consumed me. In 2021 I was neither “ok” nor “fine”. Burnout four was on the cards, only I didn’t see it or maybe I didn’t want to. I’d pressed my selfdestruct button and nearly achieved destruction.
Didn’t I learn anything from before? Yes, I did. But my mind changed the format, each experience was different, yet the same. This time worrying about how the pandemic was affecting my loved ones and my clients just added to the weight I was piling on myself.
I needed help but I didn’t want pills. I wanted to sort out my repeating patterns once and for all. I wanted to find the root cause. As a coach myself I thought I’d failed. It took another coach to show me otherwise Six months of hard mindset work later I finally saw the story behind the story
I also didn’t see the patterns in myself Excessive drive and continuing to push myself harder only to neglect myself in the process causing extreme fatigue and a feeling of inner emptiness. I’ve worked with some incredible people who “hit the skids” whether in health, business, monetary or relationships. I also saw them come out the other side stronger and more resilient yet I was struggling. Instead of acknowledging it, I blamed external circumstances. “Fine” and “ok” were robotic answers, a Barbie smile permanently on my face The fatigue I covered up with coffee and other stimulants. Self-doubt was covered up with training courses. Emotional numbness became my new normal Slowly, I shut down. Chronic pain coursed through my body After 10 months I was on the floor contemplating ending my life
Here are some ways that I beat my burnout. I moved with purpose by going on a walk in nature which is especially wonderful for your physical and mental health. I ate healthy and incorporated omega-3 to boost my mood and lower my blood pressure. My nightly routine became simple with guidelines like no caffeine before bed and the phone stays outside of the bedroom Finally, I asked for help Not asking for help ultimately affects your growth professionally and personally, and I didn’t want to end up there
If you’re ready, know that it is not a sign of weakness to ask for help. It takes courage, strength, and humility to become your own superhero so that you can operate at your highest level. This means you can avoid serious consequences like burnout. But please, no capes, they get stuck in things. Don’t believe me? Watch ‘The Incredibles’ and you’ll see

WhyYouNeed CourageMoreThana PlantoAchieve Success
Six years ago, I moved from Africa to the United States to pursue my American dream I barely spoke English and didn’t know anyone there. All I had was $2,500 on my Visa card, and a head full of dreams
My dream turned into a nightmare when I arrived at LAX where an immigration officer accused me of being a prostitute and tried to get me deported. I ended up in a detention center where I spent the next nine months. I didn't have to spend nine months in jail. I had the opportunity every single day to sign a deportation paper and go back to my country, but I didn’t because I wanted more in life and I wasn't going to give up on myself or on my dream.
It was challenging and in order for me to make it to the finish line and become the successful entrepreneur that I am today, I had to develop one skill: courage.
Christella loves to inspire and empower corporate leaders and entrepreneurs to have the courage to take bold action so they can achieve mind-blowing results.
People often see courage as something unattainable. Courage is simply a decision one makes to do something even when they are afraid Courageous people are not fearless. The only difference between them and others is that they don’t let fear stop them, decide for them, or define them or their future.
And courage doesn’t only manifest during critical times or when we have to make important moves. I love this definition of courage from Mary Anne Radmacher, “courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the silent voice at the end of the day that says ‘I will try again tomorrow ” More than an act, courage is the decision to act when it doesn’t make sense to act We tend to focus on the act when we describe courage, and we fail to realize that decisions come before actions.

"Left Africa to pursue my American dream."
You can’t achieve anything without courage. From the moment we come on this Earth, we are called to be courageous For a baby to walk, they need courage to get up and try to take steps knowing that they may fall. To have a job one needs courage to go for the interviews To have the promotions, we need courage to apply for them To have a lover we need courage to ask them out To make a sale we need courage to offer our services. Nothing can be achieved in life without courage.
Doing any of those things for the first time is scary We don’t know what’s going to happen. We don’t know if it’s going to work out or if the outcome is going to be in our favor. And we are conditioned to be afraid of the unknown
The truth is that, if one wants more in life, wants to achieve great results, wants to be successful, they have to step out of their comfort zone. They have to make different decisions and choices Magic happens when you have the courage to step into the unknown. That’s where you will discover your real strength, your real power, and what you are really capable of.
If someone would have told me that I could survive nine months in jail, I would have told them “you are out of your mind I would die after a day in prison!”. Now I know that I'm stronger than that. Maybe right now you don’t believe that you are ready or experienced or qualified or that you have what it takes to achieve that goal Or maybe you are afraid of the unknown and wonder “what if I fail? What if I make a mistake? What if I lose everything? What if people make fun of me?” You will never know how far you can go if you don’t start the journey.
“It’s impossible to win your case in this place.” Until I made it possible. Without a lawyer, I won my case.
Your goal seems impossible right now but you can make it possible if only you decide to give it a shot regardless of what everyone around you says, including the little voice in your head. If your dream doesn’t seem impossible to achieve, chances are that you are playing too small
You will be amazed by the things you can achieve if you dare to take the challenge. Even when it's scary. Even when it feels hopeless. Even when you don't have all the answers. Even when you are not ready. Even when you don't have the perfect plan
