Runners ready to get mucky gathered at Phil Moore Park Saturday for Mud Happens: One Bad Mud Run.
Family Enrichment Center (FEC) hosted the 13th annual mud run for child abuse prevention services, including a parent education program and supervised visitation. The run raised over $50,000 from registration fees and sponsor contributions. The race sold out with 734 total registered participants, the largest crowd since 2014.

Quarterback Maverick McIvor‘s 401-yard showing under the Saturday night lights powered the Hilltoppers past the Sam Houston Bearkats 41-24 at Houchens-Smith Stadium.
In his Hilltopper debut, the graduate student threw 33-51, totalling 401 yards and 3 touchdowns.
