WKU Public Media faces loss of $1.2 million from federal cuts

WKU Public Media is preparing for a loss of $1 2 million for the upcoming year after the House approved the Rescission Act of 2025, which cut over $1.1 billion of funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting

First Christian Church was awarded the “Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth Through Creative Arts” grant by Centerlink and MTV Entertainment Studios to go towards a community mural project hosted by LGBTQ+ advocacy group SOKY Alliance and local muralist Andee Rudloff
