National Science Foundation cancels 2026 submissions for research program

The U.S. National Science Foundation announced July 1, 2025 that it will no longer be accepting new proposals for the NSF Major Research Program during the 2026 submission window due to having many meritable submissions from the 2025 submission window.

First Christian Church was awarded the “Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth Through Creative Arts” grant by Centerlink and MTV Entertainment Studios to go towards a community mural project hosted by LGBTQ+ advocacy group SOKY Alliance and local muralist Andee Rudloff.
