HEALTH & WELLBEING

Our mission is to empower our Latino families to thrive by creating opportunities for advancement and building bridges that unite and strengthen our communities. Our services focus on the high-priority needs and aspirations of Latino families, as well as immigrants from other regions of the world. We believe justice for immigrants is justice for all, and that everyone benefits from greater justice and equity. Our efforts are focused on impacting the social determinants of health and well-being that will lead to progress and prosperity for immigrant members of our communities and their families. Our strength is based in our experience with immigration and the languages and cultures of our Latino families in Central Oregon. We address gaps in services and opportunities and advocate for full inclusion of our families. With the help of our clients, supporters and volunteers, we develop strategic partnerships to forge a stronger, more united and welcoming Central Oregon. We operate based on a whole-family, holistic approach, we deliver our services across Central Oregon from offices in Bend, Redmond, Madras and Prineville. In September 2021, we achieved a major milestone by establishing our Family Empowerment Center in Bend (6,000 sq feet) This year we were awarded the Bend Chamber Small Business Community Stewardship Award! Please join us to support our mission and to work together to achieve a welcoming and inclusive Central Oregon.
