VOICES AGAINST TRAFFICKING Human trafficking happens in every community regardless of race, gender, culture or socioeconomic status. In the US, a child eighteen years or younger goes missing every forty seconds. Forty life changing seconds. Voices Against Trafficking(VAT) brings together regional, national and international partners dedicated to ending the evil of human trafficking. We are individuals, corporations, survivors, nonprofits, legislators, media, and human rights agencies. We speak for those who cannot speak for themselves - men, women and especially children, who are coerced into 21st Century Slavery.
BASIC NEEDS
Voices Against Trafficking live streams free online international forums every quarter on Facebook and YouTube. These forums feature top voices from the US, Mexico, and other countries who share ideas, programs, and more to fight the evil of human trafficking. Survivors and frontline warriors share stories and tips for prevention, awareness, and rehabilitating victims. Members of Congress add their perspectives. Voices Against Trafficking is a public 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that pursues the protection of every human’s rights regardless of politics, religion, or other affiliations. We actively engage in reporting and rescue situations. VAT’s newly released book, Voices Against Trafficking - The Strength of Many Voices Speaking As One, is a great resource to start conversations among neighbors, families, churches, and communities. Designed to create greater awareness and inspire action, chapters provide essential truths and advice that affirm we can defeat the rising tide of human predators.
