







The first solar panels at Wits were installed in 2017 at the Goldfields Laboratory rooftop! Since then, several buildings have been fitted with these to generate renewable energy and reduce our carbon footprint.









Drip irrigation is used to water most gardens at Wits. This method waters plants closer to their roots compared to sprinklers where water evaporates quicker. Play your part and use water sparingly.
