Sunday, we have a full day back in Wynwood, where both of our DJs and Priscilla will blow our minds with the "JackieO' Mykonos Under the Stars Sunset Party" starting at 5 p.m. and continuing nonstop until midnight, hosted by Astra, the newest and trendiest rooftop bar in Miami. We will celebrate their first year anniversary as we delight our eyes with the most beautiful sunset overlooking Downtown Miami, while dancing to Mykonos vibes rhythms. Our "Last Dance" closing party will be on Monday at 11 p.m. back at TWIST with DJ Sella. Rafa Carvajal: What are you looking forward to the most about performing at the upcoming "JackieO' Mykonos Meets Miami" themed parties weekend? Priscilla: I'm very excited about performing at the upcoming "JackieO' Mykonos Meets Miami" themed parties weekend! It's gonna be my first time performing in Miami, and I'm looking forward to being reunited with all the Americans and Miami local friends that usually come to see me at JackieO' Mykonos every summer. This time, I'm going to be performing for them at their "house" and I'm sure they will
welcome me very warmly! Athena Dion: This is totally a full circle moment for me. As you may know, I am Greek, so the fact that we are having a Greek-Mykonos themed party weekend in my hometown is so exciting! From the first time I went to Mykonos, I fell in love with the spirit of the island and especially JackieO' Mykonos. RC: Tell our readers about your drag persona, for those who have not met you yet. P: I'm an Italian drag queen. My stage name is from the movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. It was while I was watching this movie that I got the inspiration to become a drag queen! RC: Why do you think Mykonos is so popular with American gay tourists? AD: Mykonos represents freedom. Freedom of expression, freedom to be whoever you are, and freedom to enjoy yourself however you want. It can be a 24-hour party if you want it to be, or it can be a secluded beach lost in the Mediterranean Sea. It's so diverse and dynamic that it creates the perfect atmosphere for a summer vacation.
