KEYNOTE SPEAKER Patrick J. Cleary served in the U.S. Labor Department and on the National Mediation Board during the Reagan and Bush administrations, respectively. He served on Cleary the Bush-Cheney Transition Team for the U.S. Department of Labor in 2001 and has appeared as a spokesman for business on CNN, “The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer,” on National Public Radio, and other local and national media programs. The author of The Negotiation Handbook, he has lectured on negotiation and dispute resolution at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. NASA TOURS Thursday • May 10 • 9:30 a.m. & Noon Interwire’s “Wire in Motion” theme naturally extends to the aerospace industry in which air and space travel is aided by wire applications for industrial, commercial, and military use. Representatives from NASA will present consecutive talks on Thursday morning at the I-X Center entitled: “Vision for Space Exploration: Earth, Moon, Mars, and Beyond,” and “Columbia Accident Investigation Report and Return to Flight of the Space Shuttle,” at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., respectively. Attendees are also invited to tour NASA’s nearby Glenn Research Center on self-guided and guided tours—at 9:30 a.m. and noon, respectively—of the facility where research into power, propulsion, communications, and microgravity science is conducted. Tour departs from and returns to the WAI Member Lounge. Space is limited; on-site registration only.
