From the Editor’s Desk Dear WIN Family, Warm greetings! Hope you’re all well and safe and making the most of the summer break. The academic year gone by was a crucial one with everyone returning for in person learning after two years. We’ve all gone through this journey of unlearning old ways and adopting new ones and then once again relearning bits and pieces as the new and old ways merged- an unprecedented blend, albeit a progressive one for sure. I feel immense happiness and pride in handing over the latest issue of WIN Times to you. Team WIN Times promises that the contributions within will greatly add to your summer reading experience. Spearheading the fabulous articles we have an insightful piece about happiness by our dear Principal Ms. Meenakshi. Get ready to understand the “Happiness Brew” better. On the same note, Ms. Rachna, our Secondary Head of Teaching and Learning, has penned a thought-provoking article about decoding happiness and spreading it to everyone around you. Sophia Pogorelova and Kanchan Palakode, Class of 2022, have parting words of wisdom as they graduate from Winchester and begin the next chapter of their lives. Furthermore, we’ve also covered some fabulous student led initiatives. Not to be missed is the update on the Winchester Ghaf Tree, which was planted in March, and has gained quite a fanbase! Like always, we have a number of insightful articles addressing a diverse range of topics, from book reviews and baking recipes to pieces about the importance of the mother tongue, preventing bullying, the connection between environmental wellbeing and our own, learning new skills, and fascinating facts about the animal world. I would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to each and every WIN Community Member who was a part of another productive year of WIN Times. To all our diligent columnists, to everyone who contributed, whether it was an article, an artwork, or a poem. Thank you to Ms. Meenakshi, our inspiration and guiding force.
