The Late George George, the pet cat at 1489 Hoyt, sadly died on July 25 of kidney failure. George was a longtime resident of this house and was beloved by all four house-mates. He was calm, low-key and could tolerate sudden bursts of physical enthusiasm from the clients. George loved to sit on his own stool and look out the front window for long periods. He wanted to be wherever the clients were. George made a lasting impression on Donna, Mike, Bill, and Barb. He was one-of-a-kind, and a cat of his temperament will be hard to find, should they eventually want another one. ~Maureen Merrill~
