ThisincreasewasmainlydrivenbytheFund’sequityportfolios TheFund returned20%overthepast12monthsto30thJune2023,whichwas34% slightlybehindwhatwasexpected.Despitethevolatilemarketconditions theinvestmentshaveperformedwelloverthelast12months

Employershavealreadyprovideddatafortheperiod1April2014to 31March2021forallmembersthatareinscopetoensureweare abletocalculatetheunderpin.
Wewillshortlybeintroducingsomeadditionaldatarequestsas ‘employertasks’oni-Connectforallmembersimpactedthat requestFinalPaydataatthemember’s65thbirthday.Therewillbe furtherinformationonthisinduecourse.Thisissowecan calculatethemembers’finalsalaryunderpinattherelevant normalretirementdateandapplyincreases,whereapplicable, priortocomparingtothecareeraveragebenefit.
Onceregulationsareinplace,WiltshirePensionFundwill needtoreviewandcontactanyonewhohasretiredorleftthe schemeafter1April2014andcalculatethepensiontheycould havereceivediftheyhadtheunderpinprotectionsapplied.
