/ A Note From Our Director

May turned out to be the month of the C’s at Wilson Property…… Congratulations, Celebrations, Charity, Community involvement and Change. Firstly, congratulations were in order for Anthony Bloomfield on completing his full Estate Agents licence. This is a fantastic achievement for Bloomy and I know how hard he has worked to obtain this qualification. There is so much worked involved and quite often this takes place when his day is done and his parental duties have finished. Well done again mate, we are very proud to have another fully Licensed agent part of our team!! The celebrations centred around Wilson Property turning 21!! Again this is an achievement that Sheree and I are incredibly proud of. We have worked tirelessly over the years to build our business to what it is today, always evolving, implementing new ideas and keeping one step ahead of the opposition. So many of these hours happen behind the scenes and we are both very lucky that we are so passionate about our business, our team and the people who choose us to represent them. We celebrated by taking the staff out for a beautiful meal and had a terrific night. In May we hosted The Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser and are proud that we were able to raise $398.95 for a terrific cause. Like so many other people, cancer has affected us personally and we are really pleased we were able to raise this amount of money for a such great cause. Many of our staff took part in the Mother’s Day Classic this year. While many other mums were enjoying breakfast in bed, our very own Leanne, Maree, Amelia and Sheree were up and about early partaking in the walk to Glengarry which we were delighted to sponsor. But as always the girls didn’t miss out, they enjoyed a sausage in bread as their mother’s day treat. And finally, change…. have you noticed our new For Sale signs? They have been popping up all over town, and given how quickly the market has changed, most of them have a green “sold” sticker stuck on them!! More and more of the properties we are selling don’t even hit the market, so if you see a sold sign in your area and jump online to get the details of the property, chances are it won’t be online as our sales agents have sold it off market as our market quickly deviates to a sellers’ market. / Rental Market Update The introduction of our new Rental Computer System, PropertyMe, is proving to be beneficial to both our Landlords and tenants. With all financial statements and invoices available on the Landlord Portal in one convenient location, tax time should hopefully be a breeze. We also hope to keep adding more and more information to the Landlord Portal as we go along as we like to continually improve on what we offer our Landlords. With tax time just around the corner, it can be an opportune time to get some repairs underway to claim, where possible, in this financial year. This is well below the state and regional average. 3 and 4 bedroom properties remain in strong demand however we are seeing more interest filtering through from tenants in the lower price end of the market.
