Welcome back to the summer term!
We are looking forward to an exciting term filled with lots of wonderful opportunities for the children. We are hoping that as restrictions ease we will be able to reinstate the majority of our ‘usual’ summer term activities. We will continue to keep you updated with changes around our risk assessments and procedures in school, so please keep a look out for when these are shared.
Victorian Day
Last week our Year 3 children had a wonderful day being immersed in their new topic - taking part in a Victorian day, doing sewing, gardening, creating their own Victorian diaries and portraits. Of course playtime was Victorian too!

Parts of the heart
In science year 6 have been learning about the different parts of our hearts and how they work together to deliver oxygen around our body. They have been creating models, using string and ribbon, to show the oxygenated and deoxygenated blood before drawing and labelling a diagram to show what we had learnt.
The Window
The whole school has taken part in a P4C enquiry based around the book, Window by Jeannie Baker. The children have discussed in groups what they thought the meaning behind it was and came up with a question to discuss. It would be great if you could pop over to Dojo and join this conversation.
